Since I realize that all the people that predict a low score for Horizon 2 are pretty much clueless about the franchise and never played the first one and didn't do any research on the second game.

Emphasis on 'low score', are you serious? Apparently 8.1 or 8.2 out of 10 is bad now. Kidding?

LOL good joke post I guess your not familiar with the final metascore of the first Horizon game its 85/100 and we already know that the second game will be better then the first one in every possible way.

And you know it's going to be "better in every possible way" how? Based of a couple of interviews and a teaser?

Most of us predicted a 90+ meta for Forza 5 based on its previous entries and those types of interviews. Look how that ended

There are already more then a couple of interviews there numerous long in depht articles about the game already and there are already more then a couple of people that actually played the game for a good amount of time already.  The developers pretty much released all the info about the game already the only thing we don't know for sure is the final roster count of cars and the song list everything else is pretty much a open book.  Turn 10 on the other hand was much more secrative about Forza 5 because they pretty much already knew that the final product wouldn't be as good as the previous game due to lack of content and features.

Forza Horizon 2: 85
Driveclub: 78
Project CARS: 82

Also those 90+ meta for Forza 5 predictions where for the most part based on wishful thinking since Turn 10 hardly showed anything about the game before the game that would warrant that kinda score.  My high score for Horzion 2 is actually based on known facts about the game and not wishful  thinking.  If would go with just wishful thinking then I would predict a 99 metascore for the second game.

You're missing the point. How do you know FH2 won't be penalized for being too similar to the first? How do you know the map won't be less interesting because they had to make it bigger? How do you know the events won't be more repetitive since they have to make more of them? How do you know it won't be criticized for not feeling "next gen" enough, like infamous was? How do you know expectations won't climb too high then not be met? The answer to all of these is you don't.

It's perfectly reasonable to assume FH2 will be better than the first, and i agree with you that it has a high chance of being so, but it's not at all reasonable to say "LOL nice joke post" to someone for predicting it's final meta won't be the same as the first.

Games aren't rated simply on how good they are compared to their predecessors.

First impressions are not 'facts' and are hardly representative of the final product.

Exept my score isn't based on first impressions is based on known "facts" already known about the game that where revealed in numerous in depht articles about the game.

Technically better and actually better is a completely different thing.  We already know that Horizon 2 is actually better then the first game and anyone that predicts a lower score then 85 is trolling and never played the first game and is totally unfamiliar with the facts that are already known about the second game.

The game is better then the first one in every possible way maybe you should actually read up on it or actually play the first game.  OK I word it better everyone that thinks that it will score lower then 85 never played the first game and is pretty much clueless about the Horizon franchise.

Critical thinking is actually my strong point.  Since I realize that all the people that predict a low score for Horizon 2 are pretty much clueless about the franchise and never played the first one and didn't do any research on the second game.

Goodness gracious you need to cool your jets.  You really buy into hype articles, huh?

Regardless, perhaps you could just start letting other people predict in peace instead of spiralling this whole thread into how you think Forza Horizon 2 will score better than the first game.  You've made your prediction and backed it up; now let other people do the same.

We already know that Horizon 2 will not be anything similar to the first game (except for the 360 version which will proably have a lot of less feautres then the X1 version).  So there is no way it can be penalized for being too similar to the first game.  We already know that the events will not be too repetative either since they added new showcase events to the game one that is already know about is where you race against a train.

I wouldn't call in depht articles about the game with info about the game from people that are actually are working on it hype articles.
