No replacement announced yet. I can't be happy if I don't know who is gonna replace him!

Most players will now be away on International Duty so it would be good for Liverpool to get someone in before the weekend, get settled in at the club ready for when players return, instead of the other way around where players are already back and this new manager arrives.

Hmm, pie.

KLOPP IS OURS

Rumors going around that Blatter has been suspended for 90 days by the FIFA Ethics Committee and that Platini is also considered for suspension :D

Oh man.... It seems like Klopp is going to be Liverpool's next manager! :/

Despite all this we're still going to have a World Cup held in November, what a circus FIFA are.

Plenty of time to still change that, and it wouldn't surprise me the least if people like Blatter who are going down will come clean.

I have a feeling it'll still happen, I wouldn't be surprised if the's far more that happened behind the scenes that could come out if that particular WC is changed and annoyed Qatar backers start spilling the beans for retribution. What gobsmacks me is the audacity of the whole fiasco, did they really think they could play around with the WC like this? We all knew they were dodgy but seriously, what's worse is that now the's a chance FIFA may end up as a pure business organization after all this and WCs will then only take place in a few select places that generate money rather then awareness.

Just saw this on Sky Sports from the Daily Mail 'Arsenal have been overstating their Emirates Stadium attendances by up to 5,184 fans per game.'

Is that true? Arsenal have been lying about their attendance? Why?

mostly season ticket holders who don't show up.. they paid for their ticket so its counted as sold.. happens all around.. much easier to count the tickets sold then the actual people in the stadium..

http://www.fifa.com/governance/news/y=2015/m=10/news=independent-ethics-committee-bans-several-football-officials-2709916.html

The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee chaired by Hans Joachim Eckert has provisionally banned FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter, UEFA President and FIFA Vice-President Michel Platini, and FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke (who has already been put on leave by his employer FIFA) for a duration of 90 days. The duration of the bans may be extended for an additional period not exceeding 45 days. The former FIFA Vice-President Chung Mong-joon has been banned for six years and fined CHF 100,000. During this time, the above individuals are banned from all football activities on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately.

The proceedings against the South Korean football official Chung Mong-joon were opened in January 2015 based on findings in the report on the investigation into the bidding process for the 2018/2022 FIFA World Cups™. He has been found guilty of infringing article 13 (General rules of conduct), article 16 (Confidentiality), article 18 (Duty of disclosure, cooperation and reporting), article 41 (Obligation of the parties to collaborate) and article 42 (General obligation to collaborate) of the FIFA Code of Ethics.
