LOL, it was the believers.  The reminants of a dying human quality that disables the brains ability to interpt emperical evidence.

Probably next year or 2016 if things go really poorly for MS.

By this time next year though I think most big 3rd parties will start shifting resources over to PS4/XB1 (PC) only projects. So that's when I think you'll see a big jump in PS3/360 owners moving up to the next gen. A lot of people are not going to upgrade until there as PS4/X1 only experiences that are must have.

By april 2015.

Late 2015 by the very latest.

Wow, I was pretty optimistic for the X1 judging by my post! Now, I think that it might happen sometime in 2015! :S

I do think the Xbox One will overtake the Wii U. But not for a very long time (ie. after Wii U successor is announced), unless it has a drastic turnaround in momentum. And as of today, I can't see that change in fortunes occurring any time soon.

The momentum all seems to be with the PS4 at the moment, which will drag the mass market Sony's way, and the Wii U is slowly picking up. This holiday is looking as though it's going to be Sony and Nintendo centric (with multiplats helping Sony and MK8, Smash and Amiibo helping Nintendo).

Next year could well be a different matter depending on what happens and what gets announced. But I don't see it being too different; Nintendo has some big games, Splatoon, Zelda, X etc. should give an excellent foundation, and the story has been shifting regarding them to be generally more positive. Whereas the story towards Microsoft is rather negative; that matters for the larger market and I don't think Halo 5 will help that much.

Same answer as it was in May: NEVER!

I don't see it happening before 2016. Not the way things are going right now. Once the XBone is released in all territories, and they get some real exclusives like Halo, we will have a better idea.

WiiU got a nice bump from MK, but they have no major system sellers for the holiday. Xbox One will see a decent bump from COD, Halo, the white Xbox One, and not to mention the Halo 5 beta launches Dec 29. That's going to a huge opportunity to push Xbox One to "play Halo 5" this holiday season.
