3DS is King
PS4 is Queen

This... hehehehehe

Actually I´ve been partying a lot lately with my 3DS, so I think I´ll just grab a few drinks on the PS Party and come back.

Where Nintendo fans this annoying when the Wii was on top here? I can't even remember.

Yes, trust me, they were. This is the 07-08 years all over again, only with tables turned.

Congrats to Sony, looking forward to when I get a PS4.

What? I'm going to look back in threads and forums because from what I recall we were quite humble about it,at least those of us who lived through the gamecube era.

I joined this site around the same time as you and I remember there were pro-Nintendo mods posting PS3 is doomed threads. Everyone was taking shots at the PS3. Remember the chalkboard?

I could easily name at least ten members who were insufferable at the time. The constant "Nintendomination" chants, the smug spamming of launch aligned charts showing how the Wii would crush the PS2 in lifetime sales, the ridicule they dosed out if anyone dared suggest that the Wii wouldn't get to 50% or more marketshare etc. Nintendo fans were not the noble race they purport to be in here, by far.

There were threads on how close the Wii was to outselling the 360, a bunch of celebration threads when it did pass it summer 2007, countless "50% marketshare" threads, shipment threads, milestone updates etc. Pretty much exactly the way it is now, and people were just as mean childish back then, Nintendo fans were no excpetion (neither was I).

All I will say is that when Sony wins, everybody else loses. The 5th and 6th gen saw all competitors get market share scraps and therefore years of losses and poor outlooks. Hell Sega dropped out.

The 7th gen was glorious because everybody thrived, everybody. Because Sony didn't get the lions share, competition thrived and all gamers benefited.

Honest opinion here.

While I agree 100% from a consumer and gamer perspective; from an economic viewpoint, Sony and Microsoft were bleeding money out of all orifices in the 7th gen and that's not good news either.

Well the 360 became profitable since 2008. As for Sony, well the PS3 started profitability in late 2009. Regardless, I am glad someone agrees that the even playing field was good for all 3 fanbases.

Now I see a similar situation as the 5th gen. Wiiu looks to be the Saturn, X1 as the N64 and Sony.....as Sony :P.
