The doomsayers have spoken too soon; North America sales should be quite decent. (Not making this estimate based solely on this thread, but also preorder numbers, which I believe are tracking above 3D World)

Weeeeell, they are, but the second week of 3D World, it was adjusted. So it's Pre-order numbers went from 140k to 90k.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Honestly, this game is much better than Returns. Probably the best soundtrack since DKC2. The gameplay is tight, environments are beautiful and the Snowmads are actually quite worthy as opponents. They are charismatic.

Yeah I'm loving it so far.

It looks vastly better on a TV screen running at 60fps than it does in online videos, and it's so good to have David Wise back.

My local WalMart only got 2 copies of DKC:TF, so, yes, it definitely sold out on launch day.
