For such aged hardware seeing the likes of GTA5, MGSV and Titanfall on the Ps360 it really should make people think about what kinda true next gen games we can expect to see on the X1/PS4 in a few years time when you look back at some of the launch games from the 360 era which barely showed improvement over the original Xbox versions of games.

Don't expect the same kind of improvement on PS4/X1 as we saw on PS3/360; there's no exotic architecture to work out this time.

When your talking about the games in the launch window tho a lot of these titles are just going to be prettied up versions of 7th gen games rather than stuff built from the ground up with the full capabilities of the systems in mind. Having some AA or higher resolution is not really the main advantage of going from 512mb of ram to just under 8gb Gonna be seeing far more massive open worlds and far more than just some lights on roads in the distance in sandbox games like GTA in the coming years.

I didn't say there wouldn't be improvement; there will, of course. There just won't be Perfect Dark Zero to Halo 4 improvement, or Resistance Fall of Man to God of War Ascension improvement. Not even close.

Halo 4 did seem like it was on another generation of system compared to the launch xbox360 games that's for sure... but only time will tell really. Great Devs can do a lot with hardware and make it last a long time and remain comparable to PC counterparts of games.
Like I said tho only time will really tell this, I'm just hoping to see something like Fallout 3 but which utilizes the massive amount of memory to create a huge world to get lost, but I can happily concede that as of right now this is based on nothing more than my own hope.
