So, has MS officially lost all their main markets, or do we need to wait for Titanfall to come out? MS needs to figure something out quick because losing the U.S. is not a good look for them.

I agree 100%, I bought my PS3 on UK launch 23/3/07 and have seen sale numbers in following weeks. At the end PS3 done very well. Same will happen to Xbone, in my opinion. It will sell plenty enough to be important player this generation. I'm Playstation fan, never owned xbox, but without competition from Xbox side we wouldn't have PS4 like we have now. Well designed balanced console, easy to develop for and powerfull enough to give some week long orgasms. PS3 on other side was product of arrogance of Sony due to amazing succes of PS2. They thought, there are invincible. Do You remember when they were predicting 200mln sales for ps3? It may reach half of that by the end of its life. But still, I had very good time with my PS3, still have. It sits side by side with my PS4 in the living room. Therefore I dont't feel sorry for XBOX360/XBONE owners. They will do just fine. But I understand how it is to be in that position, when your favourite system doesn't perform like You would wish it to perform. At the end of the day all this won't matter when more and more games will be released, because this is what's important - great games and lots of it.

You will have a hell of issues without Kinect...

To be fair I tried it last weekend just using the Xbone's controller (I turned the Kinect off) and I can tell you the UI was made to work with Kinect... it is really not simple/easy navigate through the interface with a controller.

MS needs to improve the usuability without Kinect to start to thing in a Kinect-less SKU.

Sounds like Windows 8 on desktops and laptops.

I haven't got a tablet yet I have to deal with that mess of an OS on my PC.

False. They have announced Uncharted, which very likely will have MP...

But you do assume a lot, don't you? PS4 is currently winning, and by a good margin as well. That's despite One having an arguably better current lineup according to popular opinion.


What about Planetside 2? Isn't that game pretty big on PC? It's also free (you don't even need plus to play it), sounds good, doesn't it?

Yep forgot about that. It's supposed to come out this spring, isn't it?


Ps2, ff14, everquest, uc4. All coming this year. How will ps4 cope with the lack of exclusive mp titles. Not to mention the holiday titles and the titles that are out now.

There is no precedent for remastered game like that shifting the balance of power. Titanfall will have a bigger impact than Halo 2 imo.
