In hindsight? What? Neither game is out yet, you know? Also the world is bigger than the US and if we want to take Amazon charts (which I find pointless to use for this but anyway) then we can easily find several countries where Infamous is seriously outperforming Titanfall, so I really wouldn't count on Titanfall outselling Infamous in the short term, long term might be a different story.

And you assume people aren't buying it, based on....what exactly? The Amazon.com charts?

Also, the world is bigger than the US but most of the time when a game is highly successful, most of the sales happen in the "ole" US of A.

Previous generation. How successful was Infamous regarding the hype created for it last gen?
It was super hyped. Let's look at the sales it generated relatively to "that hype":
Is there really anyone who seriously believe Infamous Second Son will beat Titanfall in sales?
Infamous SS will be a success but I do not see how it can beat Titanfall (not even close) based only on the hype itself and the pre-order data on this very website... (I'm not even talking about the gender: FPS).

Yup, Titanfall has more buzz going for it, it's expected, even for me as a PS4 owner who doesn't play MP, I am aware of this (well I was expecting it)...
I think the main guy in Infamous:SS doesn't look appealing, he just looks mean, so many, including me, are reluctant to embrace the game... he just looks like some frustrated teen, nobody want to be that!
Now, I may get Infamous anyway because I like the controls in these games and the action is intense, I just hope the story is not too much of a downer.
How many people will buy the xb1 for Titanfall? 10k? 100k? or will the xbox fans keep saying resolution and graphics don't matter and just play it on the 360?

Resolution and graphics don't really matter for Xbox owners. Just for games that really require it (ie: fighting games, FPS).
One of the most beloved series on Xbox is Crackdown where the graphics are cell shaded. The console that sell the most indy games is x360, there is Summer Arcade on X360 due to the format popularity on that console unlike the competition.
This resolution/graphic cry, came into play recently brought by a group that Xbox owners are not included.
