Resolution and graphics don't really matter for Xbox owners. Just for games that really require it (ie: fighting games, FPS).
One of the most beloved series on Xbox is Crackdown where the graphics are cell shaded. The console that sell the most indy games is x360, there is Summer Arcade on X360 due to the format popularity on that console unlike the competition.
This resolution/graphic cry, came into play recently brought by a group that Xbox owners are not included.
