Dude...The Xbox has gone back to competitive heaven status. They've got Killer Instinct, Gears, the first game of Titanfall exclusive and they've got Halo coming ontop of another shooter from Black Tusk. Thats pretty much it. MS is MLG certified in America for this gen. It is definitely going to be the most competitive gaming console. Add the fact that they've got exclusive content in Madden and you've got yourself a winner in America.


This is what Xbox fans knew would happen. Just hang in there because this is only the start of whats to come. Xbox One right now is the system that has the best games out and the best games on the way.

God of War Ascension didn't too great either, but that doesn't mean the God of War franchise is done. The main games of Gears of War can still sell well. 


The difference is God of War can still be made by the actual GoW Studio.
Neither Epic Games nor Cliffy B. are involved with future Gears of War Games.Especially Cliffy was the soul and heart of that franchise.

Yeah let them win NA - WHo cares?It won't be the same 360/PS3 Gap there and at the end the PS4 will be 20+ Million ahead Worldwide cause Sony and their fans are globally into their system.

^ LOL - Sony has the best games and studios - Everyone knows this.And with Multiplats being a lot better on the PS4 this Gen is decided.

I would say at best it will be 55%xbox1 owners to 45% ps4 owners, depending how 2014 and 2015 turns out it may get better or worse for either company over time (in the sense that the North American market is not in the pocket of either at the moment, which is pretty good for Sony).

When making predictions we should remember that:

 - Games get delayed and/or cancelled

- Teams change and sometimes a great team screw up

 - MS has mostly new studios that are not proven yet (they probably hired people who lost their job in this industry not too long ago, so they may be run by experienced people)

 - Most of Sony's studios have not announced anything about their next gen projects yet, which means Sony is taking their time (they probably enjoy the free hype they get now as well as all the good will)

 - The gaming press is oblivious to the obvious advantage of the PS4 compared to the XB1, loosing credibility at every chance they get, some people bought XB1s thinking that their machine could hold on its own compared to the PS4... 

 and Halo + Gears were given to new teams (halo before Halo 4) ... these franchises will not be the same as before, which may pull new people in as well as pull current fans away from the franchise... Bungie now does Destiny, Epic.. I don't know what they are up to, but it will not be Gears, and likely not even exclusive to the xb1, it's safe to assume that these new games all run better on the PS4 in one way of the other...

And people actually think it will be any different in the 8th gen? LOL! That along with people on this board actually thinking xbone has a chance in hell of winning Europe! Thanks for the laughs.

They can win the US, but they have to get price parity (or at least close the gap to $50) relatively soon-ish.

Sony has great studios but they can't sell 1st/2nd party content for sh*t. Gran Turismo has declined massively, Naughty Dog is their only go to studio now.

It'll certainly help but they need a lower price if they really want to smash the ps4 in NA. Otherwise its gonna be pretty close this time around.

Besides, Uncharted is now as big as gears if not bigger.

X1 will win NA, but the gap should be smaller this time around. I say it'll probably be 55%/45% split as opposed to the 66%/33% split last gen.

No, and you can tell the future? Looking at history sony has a lot more high quality ezxclusives.

That wasnt made by Epic, that was a side project made by People Can Fly. There was no buzz for it either. Gears is still big. God of War sold like crap because it was rushed and it came out at the end of the gen. They both were in the same boat. Not enough marketing.
