Doubt it. I wouldn't have gotten it on Wii U either way though.

Doubtful they would cancelled the Wii U release version of the game this close to launch.

It wouldn't come as a complete shock if they were to cancel it though. The sales for Assassin's Creed IV on the Wii U were pretty terrible.

Ill be pissed, but after watching the Infamous Second Son trailer I have convinced myself thoroughly that I NEED a ps4. Bundle baby!

I hope this is false. Watch Dogs is my most anticipated 3rd party Wii U game.

Hearing what Ubi have spent developing the game they need it on all platforms possible. Hence the reason i dont think the Wii U version will be cancelled. I imagine that more is riding on the success of the 4BONE versions, i bet the Wii U port is probably the cheapest to do.

Preordering Nintendo versions of third party games is always hard. Walmart and Target always had the Xbox and Playstation versions of major third party games but never the Wii U version. It always pissed me off. I would go in and always see Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed preorderable for everything but Wii U. Likely this is just more of the same. Want to preorder Watch Dogs for Wii U? Ask directly, and see what they say. They'll probably still let you, they just aren't advertising it. At the worst, they might not take preorders but will still have the game in some places. Other places won't have the game at all because they see no demand for it. Third party support doesn't only have trouble at the developer and publisher level, but at the retailer level as well. Marketing for Nintendo versions of third party multiplats is so bad it's hard to even know they exist if you look in the stores. Seriously, it's bullshit.
