I'll second this comment....   I had every nintendo console until they came out with the Wii. Loved Metroid, mario cart, mario party etc.  As soon as I saw the 2-3 controller crap nunchuckknife bs. I said no...  then I saw everyone loving all this gimmicks and I said to myself really, you all look silly.  I would love to play nintendo games with an PS or Xbox controller and not have to jump swing my hands to play.  When it appeared Wii U was going to fail, I was happy. Finally their gimmicks are not working. Maybe they can make a real console or make games as a 3rd party for a real console..I dont hate nintendo.  I just hate the Wii and WiiU.     

Call me a hater whatever you want. Ironically, I dont like shooters and prefer 3rd person games, rpgs, strategy games etc...  so please ji mention of COD, BF.   1st person shooters were meant to be played with mouse and keyboard, but that is another conversation..

Nintend0m3 is one of the most ancient and respected non written internet and gaming laws. What I don't really get are people that don't like Ninty, yet they demand that it follow Sony or MS business and system design models to save itself. Oh well, people are strange.

Your acting like it doesn't happen to every company. How many news stories have there been in the past couple of years about Sony because they're losing money?

Sony closes down Studio Liverpool, Zipper Interactive, and Big Big Studios. Sony sells a building. Sony's line of credit drops. Sony has less money than both Microsoft and Nintendo. That's only what I can think of off the top of my head in the last couple years, but there's a lot more I'm sure.

Nintendo gets some bad news and all Nintendo fans are up in arms that everyone is against Nintendo.

Psst.  Microsoft and Sony fans.  Remember the secret anti Nintendo meeting 10:00pm CST tonight.  You know the place.

First of all, I see articles about good things that happen to Nintendo all the time.

Second of all, the reason there is so much discussion about Nintendo is that a lot of people are sick and tired of seeing a company that was was once second to none in the market it was in continue to fail to capitalize on its infinite potential.

There are so many things Nintendo could be doing right now to effectively bring so many amazing games to so many people, and yet they blunder at every turn.

It was cute during the Wii era when Nintendo said things like "Online isn't that important," but it is 2014 and they are close to 2 generations behind in a very important department. Get. Your. Act. Together.

Closing a studio or selling US headquarter means nothing ( especially when you buy a bigger one in the same year -_- ) compared to such loss for nintendo.

It's normal to be more shocked by the Titan fall, same thing happened to Sony after PS2 generation, becoming the loser of the new generation when you were the king of last generation is currently something people want to talk about.
