Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Project C.A.R.S. WiiU first screenshot Leaked!

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Is this like a serious racer like GT or more of a Need for Speed?

It's a serious racing sim game

OT: The pic looks blurry, but you can't expect excellent quality from an off the screen pic from an unfinished product. We'll see how it ends looking, and more importantly, playing.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

The quality of the video above isn't so good this one is much better. Im more interested in the type of racing in the second half of the video

Silly me, I posted one of his much older videos

Is that some kind of menu screenshot ? Those could always end up looking better than in-race (Forza, GT etc.).
Anyway nice to see something that isn't PC from this game.

That's a big difference but still not a difference between two console generations in my opinion (or it actually is since the leap between PS360 and Bone/PS4 isn't as big as many of us had hoped for).
(*Yes, I know this isn't a next gen console version on display, but it will probably be on par with the PC quality we see here.)

But there's obviously something wrong with the GT6 feed, it's very compressed and blurry (and even seems like 1/3 of all rendered pixels are cut off completely) while the Project Cars PC feed is very sharp. So in summary, this comparison is unfair.

I've seen this shot before somewhere. I think it's old pre-alpha stuff.

I can see jaggies.

I only used that video to show the kind of gameplay Project Cars will have, a sim like Gran Turismo, not to show the graphics.

And in any case, that's a comparison with one of the PC builds, not the WiiU version which won't look as good. None of the console versions will look as good as the final PC version.

You have to use the Component cables to record PS3 footage. Since Sony HDCP'ed all games on the HDMI port. PC you can direct screen capture. That's why the blurryness.
