Forums - Gaming Discussion - eBay proves PS4 and Xbone stock has met demand.

Quick search on eBay shows that there are quite a few PS4s and Xbones ending right now at or above retail price with ZERO bids. I'm talking items that are ending in seconds.

The only way this is to be is that initial demand has been met. Those wanting one for xmas have largely already bought one.

I noticed over the last week xbone stock in many retailers was readily available and I'm betting going into this week we'll see the same for PS4.

Now with January just around the corner and clearly neither machine holding extreme demand as was the case with Wii, we'll see where they level off at and the true sense of next-gen power.

Will we see steady numbers a la PS3? or will we see dismal sales a la Wii U?

Be sure to watch my sales comparison thread for the outcome! (see sig)

Amazon and Gamestop restocked today.

This is the 1st time that new consoles do not vaporize into thin air in seconds after getting restocked. And i guess you are ignoring the fact that not everyone outside US wants to buy a ps4/xone from Ebay. I've checked amazon.uk and its out of stock (ps4 that is). So outside US the demnad is still not satisfied.

... and my local best buys....possibly walmart idk didn't check.

eBay proves demand by people willing to use eBay has been met.
I wouldn't use eBay even if it was $100 under retail price.

You do realize US = world in these matters, right?

Statistics doesn't need to account for 100% of market. Just  sizable representation. eBay is perfect for that. Especially the gaming market.

Well considering this one is currently selling for $130 more than RRP, I would consider your statement false.
