I fucking love Nintendo. I love them so much I'd move my whole family to Seattle for a job there that didn't increase my standard of living at all. Just so I could work for Nintendo.

I've owned every single home console and will continue to own their console for so long as they produce them. Day one every time from here on out baby. (Thank you quality education and good job)

However, who the hell thought it was a smart idea to go on a core gaming show that will ONLY be viewed by major core gamers and show a damn grandpa monkey to a game we've known about for over half a year?!

Those executives are completely nuts. DKCTF will be another great game Nintendo makes and will only make 2014 an even richer year for Wii U owners. However, its not a system seller by any means and definitely not a game type to appeal to more than 10% of VGX viewing crowd. That game will NOT get any of those viewers to buy a Wii U. It simply won't.

I an understand not showing an actual new game at VGX. Save those for other big occasions or even Nintendo Directs. However, show a damn game that would appeal to the audience you're presenting too.

There is no hope for Wii U at this point. Great games for me and other Nintendo gamers, but nothing to bring in the masses.

What game do you think Nintendo should have shown?

Zelda, Smash, or X. DKCTF looks like just another 2d platformer. I'd buy a Wii U for a DK64 type game

Why would they want to be in touch with reality? That means they would have to recognize that the WiiU is a disaster and their image is in desperate need of change. Let them live in their fantasy world that Donkey Kong is the thing people really wanted to see tonight.

I'm tired .... I really am. I love their games, but they keep letting me down. A pity I find their games to be crack like.

Yeah nintendo simply did not understand what audience they were talking to at the VGA's, which is kind of alarming,

Vgx was horrible and was on Internet. Marketing can not be replaced by an Internet award show that drop in viewer half way through.

This is me. I love them, but they only hurt me. 

With just a little bit of application, Nintendo could be everything I wanted them to be.

Clearly Nintendos new target demographic is now Grandpas and Grandmas!!!
