Online services and multiplayer for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are well worth the fees associated with them.

Not for me, I don't care for online multiplayer.

Then you don't pay the fee. WOO!

Precisely. :) It's worth it for some, but not others.

some of that will be probably true but you are kidding yourself if you think people will move on and actually play the games! we don't get threads about how good the assassin's creed campaign is or how people like the cod ghosts multiplayer even if many probably play it. it's all only about the resolution, the rest is something nobody seems to care about with these games.

Yep... I don't even like MP but I agree in the case PS+ is great value as I have it without even playing MP because of the gifts and discounts... 60 dollars just to play is übber crazy.

Okay, lets just get it out and settle it once and for all.

PlayStation 4 is going to sell the best this generation.
PlayStation 4 is the most powerful games console this generation.
Multi-plat titles are more often than not going to be better on PlayStation 4 this generation.
For TV and programming services, Xbox One will be best this generation.
Xbox One is going to easilly beat the WiiU this generation.
WiiU sales will improve but never enough to reach over 60M lifetime.
Resolution and framerate stability is going to more often than not be better on PlayStation 4.
There are, and are going to be, great games on all three systems, enough of them, and of a quality that warrant the purchase of each machine.
Online services and multiplayer for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are well worth the fees associated with them.
PC versions of multiplatform games are going to see a big boost in quality because of the new consoles.
As gamers, with all three consoles and PC getting better games in the future, we ALL win, regardless.

Once we accept this and move on to actually PLAYING the games, these forums are just doing to be a dire state of petty arguments, none of which benefit the community, or change the situation with the consoles in any way.

Why is the power of a console so important to most people. The SNES was the last console which was the most powerful for a generation which actually won a console war. How long ago was that. Everyone said the PS3 ws going to trounce both the Wii and 360 and as of now it is in third place. Noone knows what is going to happen. Just enjoy the ride.

No, there were more powerful consoles at the time.

And I don't agree with some of this, PS+ and Live are not worth the money IMO.

I agree with OP.

Hey man, just tell me the lottery numbers with your crystal ball.

1 glass ball?
2 yup
3 depends only for people that think visuals are everything
4 seems so
5 see 1
6 see 1
7 yup
8 NAILED IT
9 depends some people would love to play with friends for free(host your own server like on PC) and with strangers/tournaments with fee (use anti cheat protected servers etc)  there is still no need for a fee at all. Renting old games and or getting really old games for free also is a matter of taste.
10 yes
11 yes

Would have been better if you would have dropped 1 3 5 6 and 9   so its 6/11 or in  /10 review scale its a  5,4 out of 10.

Lets hope the sequel is a bit better.

Btw this just showed me how flawed the review system is. I mean you were more right than you were wrong  but it still is a bad score  5,4 out of 10 sounds really bad wtf....

I think you are mostly right.

I still could see the XBox devision ending as a smoking crater though.

I bet the WiiU has the best exclusive titles this generation!!
