I don't mean to doom and gloom, but nothing can save the Vita at this point...

I think that that is the case for the Wii U

The Wii U has been out for 10 months and just got a few fantastic titles that could easily influence a purchase. The PS Vita has a few watered down console games and has almost been out for 2 years. Lets be real here.

You know what? FIne, I'm sorry. I know the Wii U is set to succeed just like every other Nintendo console. Just don't come to the Vita articles and say it's doomed.

if save is reach 3DS sales, so no, never, but sure it can help

I think at this point 40m sales lifetime would be considered success

25mil is successful imo.

They can bring it to the US, but that won't help it. People can use their iphones for that.

If psvita bring us third party support then yes

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I don't think Vita TV will amount to much more than a niche device.

Regarding the west, I just don't see consumers excited to play Vita games on their TVs with all of the console choices out there and most people already have a device that can stream Netflix and similar services. Regarding Japan, they'll prefer actual Vitas there.

Personally, I think the messaging is all wrong; what Vita TV does with the PS4 is actually pretty cool and the price is right, but I think its biggest problem is that, well, it's being marketed as "Vita TV".

Seriously, I doubt it and I don't understand this move. Vita TV must be connected to a...TV (If I'm not wrong), thus rendering useless the fact that the Vita was supposed to be a handheld console.

Yh, that's what I mean. It should bring in support. I think it will still sell like hotcakes no matter what. $100 for so many features(PS4 Remote Play, Vita Games, PS3 Gaikai Streaming, Photo and Video archive, Internet, PSN and PS+. PS1 and PSP games, etc) is a good deal. You all will see.........

Vita TV is Sony's answer to not knowing what to do with the thing other than making it a PS4 accessory. So, no, Vita TV won't help the system all that much, and imo, it should not leave Japan.

Exactly, I think ps vita tv is a completly different device. Its not a handheld but people want it to be part of its sales. I personally think it'll outsell vita and be a big hit in US/Europe.
