i'd be pissed honestly. you know we are gonna go through a shit hole in the gaming industry if a game this big is exclusive to one platform (in this case next gen exclusive). if sony secure this next gene exclusive then microsoft will secure another game, then sony will try counter with another and nintendo will be trying to do the same. and before you know it most big games are exclusive to different consoles. games that would have been multiplaftform. the end result is that every gamer has less to play, and a lot more to pay if he wants to play them. 

It isnt nice when a game is expected to come out on your platform of choice is restricted, but I find that less horrible than restricting DLC content to a platform for those that have already purchased the game... now thats annoying (Fallout 3 being one of them).

I don't know... Rockstar owe Sony as far as rumours go, LA Noire was going to be PS3 exclusive, then we had Agent which has not appeared (and if it did would it suddenly be multiplatform)... I am hoping Sony kept their hand in with Rockstar and Agent is still going and is still Sony only, I think that is a better proprosition than stopping GTA5 on XboxOne.

Even then i don't mind paying Rockstar twice as their games are worth it and give months of enjoyment. Some games i finished within days and that was it.

Guys this wont be a big system seller if it happens, and there would be virtually ZERO chance of GTA Next being an exclusive to anything.

It will be nothing more than a deal for a next gen port of a current gen game that will have already sold 20 Million units.

The only thing it will do is build the GTA fanbase on PS4 early.

I have to agree with Banana. This won't happen. The PC version can easily be ported/modified to the XB1, as the XB1 has very similar OS to Windows 8. For all we know, the "PC" version could be XB1.

Aren't some other games offering discounts/trade ins for next gen versions?

If I were Rockstar I would seriously consider this. I'm the patient type of consumer anyway (still haven't bought the Last of Us) so if there's going to be a better version out, I'll just wait for it.

They will bring this game out before the end of next year on next gen/PC... if thats the case it will not have already sold 20 million units.. and if they do it early enough, could have a massive impact on further people picking up a next gen console. It all depends on if Rockstar have any other games coming out next year.. if they do, then it could be before May, which could be massive.

I doubt Sony can afford to moneyhat GTA5 exclusivity on any platform.

Rockstart must be absolutely pissed at all the leaks going on. These kinda leaks have a direct impact on the sales of the game.
