I've gotten 1400 xbux to date from not doing a whole lot. Not bad.

This is an interesting/good idea. The most important thing is left out though, the conversion rate.

So people who rent games and support the companies the least have the potential to vastly make more credits than anyone else.

No.

People with access to many games and lots of free time do.

Been a member since it's launched and it's quite amazing how much better it is now.

$5 bucks says this only applies to digital purchases...and rightfuly so.

I was delighted when they introduced a very very very small rebate for having a certain gamerscore. Xbox 360 pioneered achievements for consoles so it would only make sense that they would make them even more relevant to gamers.

If I were them, I would make special awards for milestones like 50,000, 100,000 ect. A cool avatar award or a free game or something when you hit a big milestone that demonstrates your dedication to the system would be really nice ... just as Nintendo rewards those who reach certain milestones in number of games purchased in a year.

I suppose, people could just rent games, but if your gamerscore is over 100,000 and you have not purchased a few games, DLC and arcade titles along the way I would be very surprised.

Good ideas.

Can you imagine if they they let you chose between some special rifel in Halo, a free game or some other custom thing?  People would go nuts working on their gamerscore.

And I saw, there are some people near 1 million, not sure if they have made it yet.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
