As we roll over to the 1st of Augest we get the newest game in the "Games with Gold" promotion. First 2 weeks of this month we get to Download and Keep a free copy of Crackdown from Microsoft, by no means a bad game in itself but I believe I purchased my copy of this from gamestop new about 2 years ago for .98c along with a copy of Bullet witch. It's it good?

I am not good at turning down free games. It's a problem of mine.

I did like defense grid, but haven't had a chance to finish it yet.

Please don't kill me for saying this, but two games a month is almost like too many.  Unless, I guess if you really hate the game, but they have all been rather good to great games.

According to Metacritic it's an 83. Not bad at all.

yeah it's not a bad game at all, it sold really really well tho when it came out but that was mostly because it was a very early game for the 360 and it had a beta invite to play Halo 3 I believe it was, recall 2 of my mates at the time buying this game just to play that beta. But yeah an 83% metacritic rated game for free, can't really complain here. Like I mentioned btw if you aren't wanting to download it now because of bandwidth limits or ADHD jumping you from game to game you can just click the link I gave and confirm buying the game and then you'll have the license for it for whenever you do want to play it you'll have the option to download it from the store for free.

short on funds you'd love being in my town atm, a video rental store is closing down and they're getting rid of all their stock here, I got 11 ps3 games for 33euros in it... no boxes for them which bugs the shit of my game collecting heart but since I just recently picked up the ps3 getting that amount of games for 3euros a pop was awesome to kick start my collection.

Damn being broke as shit atm but gotta love at least having a shit load of games to play while waiting for moneys.

Crackdown is fucking awesome. I hope this brings more interest in the IP.

I already own a physical copy, but I want the digital copy too.
