Perhaps he means a difference between one million Xbox One sold instead of just 100k units. That means successful in Japanese territory, not 20 million units or something like that.

IMO Japan is a non-starter, they should just omit that region and put out a greater effort in Europe and emerging markets [China, Brazil, UAE, India Korea etc] doing this should more than out shine and marginal gains to be had in that market. After the 360's showing its clear the market is actively rejecting the offering.

EDIT: and there are dedicated Halo and Gears of War tournaments in Japan. |
These are niche things in Japan.
The day Microsoft launch exclusively on Xbox a main episode of FF/DQ/MH, Sony will be in serious trouble.
Otherwise absolutely zero chance.

Didn't they launch a MH with the 360?

I wrote a main episode.
The MH on the 360, is a pc port of an online game.

They did. |
Didn't worked well in their favor, did it? xD
The only way for the xbox brand to be successful in Japan is by not being the xbox brand, it doesn't matter which games they have or when they launch or what it costs.

Lol the hell? Who told you that?
