Forums - Gaming Discussion - People of the most popular urban website not happy with new Xbox. Link inside.

Sigh I'll be glad when these threads aren't popping up every 5 minutes and there is something new to talk about. 99% of the people raging on the internet won't be buying a next gen console until they drop to $299 anyways. At that point anything can happen. Xbox One will be just fine.

But what i'm saying is that the average Joe is going to go out and buy an Xbox and expect it to work like the 360 don't you think. I can't see anywhere on the amazon pre order page or others that says the Xbox requires an internet connection. I'm not saying people don't have internet, a lot of people do. But the fact is that a lot of consumers don't know what will happen if say their internet drops out for a couple of days.

1) People who bought console from retailers can return it, if it is don't work (you don't have internet connection), i think. Funny fact, you need itunes to activate ipad, very convinient, don't you think?

2) People who buying stuff from amazon - have internet, and more aware about product requirements stuff.

Sure but going back to my question, do you think physical discs should be treated the same as digital download now? Do you think the Xbox should go digital only or is planning to go digital only. And why do you think that's a better option for gamers. Especially those that don't have a stable internet connection.

In MS eyes, disc is not just games data anymore, they are keys to unlock digital copy access. But in more familiar form factor.

Xbox One - in the sense digital only console, just with few compromises to casual buyer. MS making big step in the future, unlike Sony.

Not in the real world. Especially when every second game have huge online integration (Destiny, NFS Rivals, TitanFall, COD, BF4, DriveClub, Crew, Division and etc.). Industry goin in the always online way, pure single player experience slowly, but dissapear.

I'm not going to enter into a conversation woit someone who thinks the way you are here.  Its pointless.  We could never agree.

Its also off topic.

Not only is it off topic, but it's probably the worst thread you could possibly think of to demand proper dialogue from an xbox fan as a Sony fan, especially when OP is posted by a Sony fan about an idiotic website full of Xbox hate.

If you're going to ask an xbox fan to answer honestly to some questions about the legitimacy of not liking the xbox one, this definitely is not the thread for it. Instead, it's the thread to celebrate the realization that half of the internet is retarded.

Priorities are what tell you who's a fanboy imho. That should answer your question Euphoria.

Having said that and taking a step back, there is demographic data in that website to be considered and also some form of insight as to how word of mouth functions in retarded circles.

You don't need itunes to activate it but i see what you mean about people should know or can return if they need to.

DO you feel that the world is ready for a digital only world. Because at the moment i can still buy CD's and DVD's and i don't need lose the right to sell them on privately or require an internet connection to listen and watch them. Do you think MS has jumped to far ahead and that could alienate some of their userbase on the 360.

That doesn't answer my question, not in the least.

Someone on the internet saying "Fuck Halo, it's shit." doesn't mean they are a Sony fanboy. Someone bitching about the new XBox One policies does not make them a Sony fanboy.

Why can't these people be disgruntled Nintendo fans? Why not Apple fans? Why not just regular people who don't like the device?

Why does everything come with a ridiculous label? That is no better than these "retarded" or "idiotic" people on WSHH.

Anyways, I am not concerned about getting an answer now. He went ahead and made a statement which he speaks of as if it is factual and continues to dodge questions about how he comes to those conclusions.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

If someone says "Mario sucks" and "Halo is shit" at the same time, but say only good things about Sony, you can be pretty confident they are a Sony fanboy. The reason is that they as an Apple fan they would have absolutely no motivation to do so. That's what I mean by priorities.

The use of retarded is a constatation of a lack of intelligence on the part of the posters therein, given their grammar and lack of ability to describe their opinions intelligently offering rationale. It doesn't take a rocket science degree to observe that. Of course it's an exaggeration, which you should know.

Here is an example of something I would consider Sony fanboy-like:

It's not funny, and only serves to put down anything non-Sony. People then wonder why Nintendo and Xbox fans have trouble liking Sony fans in general, and well it's because of stuff like this. If legitimate Sony fans cared, they wouldn't be onto us about it, they would be telling their same-alligeance goons to get smart.

Nope, 100% you need it to use vanilla ipad just from the box. Well, you can activate it in the store, but still.

Yep, ready. And you can play games without internet connection, just 24 hours, but you can do it. This is price for digital benefits (use disc only once, play your games library at friends house, share games through family). Buy once, use anywhere (with internet connection).

And games now, different media from music and videos, many games require internet connection to fully expirience it. See examples above.

Well that seals it, if these guys of intellect and balance don't like it it must be bad.

Seriously, have you read that garbage. I think "gay" is used in about 90% of posts. They all also think halo is "gay" and a terrible game series.

So yeah, they are very objective aren't they. It's just like many other forums right now, infested with Sony fanboys filling everything ms related with bile.

Of course, the OP did not read it completly :)
He was busy creating another irrelevant and bashing thread because he found an article with bad comments about Microsoft next's Xbox!

yeah no, no one is saying Halo and Mario sucks, they are saying that xbox1 sucks, but you cant prove a person is a Sony fanboy just by saying the xbone sucks, especially since there are people who dont even game on SOny systems, like Angry Joe saying it sucks.

WSHH is a crap show anyway

Yeah, I know, and I never said that if someone was saying halo sucks then they are a Sony fanboy. I was just answering his question, and you misread it. I wasn't supporting Kowen saying they're all Sony fanboys, I was just answering the question. He asked "How do you recognize a Sony fanboy" and I answered: priorities and attributing pos/neg value disproportionately without giving proper thought.
