Yes, but it is obvious to everyone - why make an additional thread to this topic? We all know about it.

My only issue is when console gamers use "specs" as the pure method to determine how good a console is. That's why you get people like us chime in and say "well PCs offer the best, so..."

After that, the console gamer then turns to completely opinionated subjective methods of calculating "best" by saying "well sitting on the couch is better. Controllers are better than the keyboard!" etc.

It will always be annoying.

I find both groups to be annoying in more than one way.  To me it seems like many console gamers are ill informed while many PC gamers are too cocky.  Both types seem to ignore things as it all comes down to opinion on certain things.  Certain things are facts like PC has more capabilities with graphics.  That kind of stuff should never be argued with and even in next-gen that will still remain because of better hardware.  

I'd like to see all gamers start to get along but that will never happen lol

You've answered your own question there. Some PC gamers get annoyed that PC hardware is effectively held back by console hardware. Even when there is new console hardware, within a year or two the consoles will be limiting games on higher end PC setups. It's only through mods that we see the potential that some of these games can provide.

The best and most popular PC games however are usually the more scalable ones. Half-Life 2 for instance could play on numerous lowly setups when it was launched yet still managed to look ground breaking at release for those with more powerful rigs.

I don't think that's much a problem on VGC since most PC gamers here also own consoles.

Everyone bashes everyone on youtube.

When the consoles are released they're always in the mid-high range of PC GPU's. Last Gen the 360 and the PS3 was around a 7800 GTX when 8800 GTX is out. This gen it's around a 7870 when unnanounced GPU is out. Consoles will be more optimized than equivalent PC builds, but optimization will only compete with brute for for so long.

I'm not sure why some console gamers or PC gamers are spazzing out like it's any different than before.

Yeah but I don't really see how anybody justifies bashing on something like this.  I don't know I dont really get it.  As imaginedvl stated earlier I don't really see the point in bashing any of the consoles or PC as it is opinion.  Even kinect/Move games are opinion.  I don't like motion controls but I know some people do so i don't bash on them.

People who bash on x console cause its graphics suck deserve to get bashed by the PC "elitest gamers" who give them a taste of their own medicine.

Console specs will always be shit compared to a high end PC. And now that Consoles are becoming more like mid range PCs the idea that PCs are expensive will no longer exist as a similarly speced PC will cost about the same as a PS4 or X720. After that point it will really just come down to a preference of games as certain consoles and PCs will have games that the other consoles wont have.

You really don't see why? Let's try this another way. Imagine that you are preparing for a race, so you work out and become extremely fit. When the race comes, you find out that it's a tandem race and you are tied by a rope to another person. The person you get tied to is a fat old man who probably hasn't exercised in months. 

Despite the fact that you're physically fit and capable of running an extremely fast time, you are now physically held back from your full potential by the fat man you're tied to.
