americans have no sympathy for mass-shootings.  america has an ugly history of violence so i guess its acceptable.  being black and native  stuff like slavery, church bombings, the civil rights movement and the trail of tears makes you see things different i guess.

when the blood of children dont move these corporate shills nothing will.  we should make caskets for kids that die by gunfire with the lables dedicated to the congress of the usa.

Yeah, all Americans just laugh at it and say good job.Nice way to lump everyone together into one hive mind. This kind of post takes no thinking at all. It is just insulting to all Americans and intended to do so unless you are ignorant of the violence of human history. Nice way to turn a tragedy into a gun debate and false history lesson.

You have no idea how long guns have been a part of this countries culture to understand, or about the culture in general based of your post. The actions of a few do not speak for the masses. I vote to keep guns legal because the average individual not in poverty is using them responsibly. I believe in keeping my social freedoms, and I do not care if European countries do not care what freedoms their country take away from them.

if someone commits a crime and you said nothing you are as guilty as the person that did it.  your voice is your vote right.  so if you vote for a corporate shill thats unsympathethic to the blood of babies then shame on you.

no one still has answered the question  what happens when non "criminals" go on shooting sprees.  how many mass murderers had police records?  that the problem with the whole debate.  sort of requires critical thinking

Wow what flawed logic that is. Because the police dont know the activities of every individual then no one should own a gun. frankly i like the police not being in my business. and no, not everyone should be treated like criminals because they police are clueless. because not everyone is a criminal

It's funny when you talk about ignorance in the next post... ignoring the fact that the accounts of a concealed carry owner shooting a completely innocent bystander is so low it's not statistically significant.

The only person who's lacked critical thinking on the issue is you.

All the statisitics point to something completely else.

We should seriously consider creating two separate threads whenever there's another gun-related tragedy in the USA - one for US-americans, one for the rest of the world.

Because every gun-violence related thread turns into the same, never-ending discussion about gun control between americans and the rest of the world. It's an endless loop that will never lead anywhere, for the reasonings on both sides are always the same and neither side will ever acknowledge any points the other side makes and in the end, everyone probably thinks the people from the other side are complete idiots bringing up stupid arguments.
