Forums - Gaming Discussion - Deus Ex Wii U improvements not planned for other platforms

Joystiq

Eidos Montreal's Emile Pedneault, game designer on the Director's Cut of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, tells Penny Arcade Report the improvements planned for the Wii U version of the game aren't currently in the works for Xbox 360, PS3 or PC. Meanwhile, unused alternative headline to this article: "Square Enix passes on opportunity to sell Deus Ex twice."

The improvements include graphical updates, goodies like a strategy guide and – easily the most important tweak – a reworking of those abysmal boss fights. The farmed out boss fights have now been reworked in-house by Eidos Montreal, as was the case with "The Missing Link" downloadable content.

Even if it is planned they're not going to say it. That's not good marketing.

Razors Edge wasn't announced as x360/ps3, and then later was. Not saying this will. But, they'd get a lot of people to rebuy a game, for doing next to no work. And easy Digital Distribution.

Three months after its release, Square Enix will announce that it will come to the PS3/360.

LoL bullocks!

They'd be crazy not to release a DLC pack for the other versions.
But we are talking about Square-Enix so who knows...

Its probably another timed exclusive lol. Really, the only games you can say are forever exclusives for Wii U are the many Nintendo first and second party games, Capcom, and maybe Ubisoft games.

Outside of the improved graphics, I'd be surprised if the extra content doesn't make its way to the other platforms at some point.

As was this... Which is my point.

Was dues ex a good game? Seems like a run-of-the-mill fps.
