Even if it is planned they're not going to say it. That's not good marketing. Razors Edge wasn't announced as x360/ps3, and then later was. Not saying this will. But, they'd get a lot of people to rebuy a game, for doing next to no work. And easy Digital Distribution.

So, exactly how notifying that the update is coming to the Wii U help its sales? If there is no plans for there to be any other release of Deus Ex for anything but the Wii U, and not saying so, help sales?
There is another Deus Ex that HAS been announced for the other consoles. The issue you have isn't with the announcement, it is with the lack of 360 and PS3 rereleased versions. And I think it is highly presumptive that people would rebuy that which they already own, or traded in.

it getting more attention (such as this thread, speculation, etc) because it's best version of a game around a ~89-90 meta rated game when the wii-u has a lack of software, and it stirs the pot from users of other consoles, that it otherwise wouldn't have. You could certainly make the argument that internet hype =/= sales.
Actually Human Defiance was an 8-bit april fools joke. It's not announced. http://www.siliconera.com/2013/04/01/eidos-celebrate-april-fools-day-with-8-bit-deus-ex-human-defiance/
I have no issue with anything, besides you pulling that out of your ass. Especially since I don't play PS3 or 360... >_<. I even said that I'm not saying this is going to be re-released. If SE wants to release it only on wii-u that's their perogative. Just that I think it will, based on previous evidence.
Rereleases obviously work otherwise companies wouldn't do it repeatedly, it's worked before on same platform, The first Deus Ex had a re-release, Thief had a re-release, Street fighter's had re-releases, Ninja Gaiden's re-releases, Multiple Resident Evil's with re-releases. A lot of Square Games in Japan. Multiple GoTY editions from other games.

You had issues with the marketing doing this, before I spoke, so you are incorrect in saying your ONLY issue is what I said. I questioned your comment about that. See the bolded comment above, as it shows to the contrary what you just wrote. With the Wii U lacking anything remotely third-party exclusives, this runs counter to that trend and gets attention, and thus is actually can be argued to be a good marketing move.

good job at being wrong about all the facts though pertaining to everything else. All I said were things that were slightly inconsistent in semantics and was opinion, imo it is not good marketing particularly if you're releaseing the wii version first, to announce all the versions
So are you saying that announcing all 3 at the same time would get more hype, then announcing the wii-u version first and then if they are announcing the other 2 (notice the hype for the Wii-u version wouldn't be any different whether they in the future announce or don't announce the other versions)?
Selling "a lot" is obviously relative to other games that do this kind of things and the amount of work they have to put in, but you like things out of your ass.

How many people do you expect to rebuy a rerelease of Deus Ex on the PS3 and 360?
You said this: "But, they'd get a lot of people to rebuy a game, for doing next to no work."
What is your definition of "lots"? It is you who said "lots of people", not I. How much is lots? In short, how much more profit do you see them making rereleasing Deus Ex on the PS3 and 360 with the Wii U additions than by not doing it, and announcing it as a Wii U exclusive?
More or less than No More Heroes released on the PS3 and 360?
Total sales of this unreleased title on the PS3 and 360?
http://www.vgchartz.com/game/40816/no-more-heroes-heroes-paradise/
http://www.vgchartz.com/game/40815/no-more-heroes-heroes-paradise/
That is around 170,000 or so combined to history. You consider anything approaching that to be LOTS?
And exactly what upgrades is the Wii U version adding that aren't available on the 360? Get people to buy the DLC again bundled with the game, or buy additional bug fixes?
It is also interesting that you have a fixation of what comes out of my arse, an insistence on saying what I say "comes out of my arse".
As for what I am saying, I would be interested in seeing exactly what is gained financially by not having the updated version of Deus Ex remain a Wii U exclusive and announcing as such, when no one can seem to point out what it offers, outside of maybe commentary by the developers (and adaptation to the Wii U's pad) that isn't here now. So, they stopped releasing bug fixes for the other two that got into the PS3 and 360 version?
Go ahead and show what is new with the Wii U version that will get "lots of people" to buy a game that is approaching a year old now on the PS3 aand 360.
