Yeah the load times are ridiculous on the PS3. It is beyond annoying. No im not lying.  My xbox takes like 5 - 10m max for an update while my WiiU and PS3 takes l;ike 1 - 3 hours.  This is actually pretty well known issues.  It doesnt stop the PS3 from having great games.  It's alright for consoles to have cons dont you know?

It is slower. But no way it's as slow as you say it is in the last 2 post. Over exaggerating is still lying.

No Im actually not exaggerating.  Even XBLA games install for me around 30m to an hour compared to 1-3 hours on PS3.  It doesnt stop me from playing my PS3 but is an annoyance that I hope they have fixed with the PS4.

lol then don't believe me, i dont give two shits.  I own both, happy with both but ill be honest about things.

P.S 1-3 hours is talking about an update, not about a game.  The last PSN game I dloaded was Journey and I wasnt home while dloading it so i couldnt tell you how long it took.  Before that it was Fat Princess which is like 3 years old?

Seriously? Even shitty Croatia starts with 5Mbit/s, (optical cable starts at 10 or 12, and it's actually cheaper than the 5 over the adsl, sadly only available in Capital).

Of course it is not for the whole country. I mean, the best offer is 100mb/s for about 30 euros per month. But that depends on where you live. Most of the places don't have optical cable available, so those places are where the most painful scams are going on.

You're lucky. I pay for the fasted internet speed available in my area and a 12gb download would probably 3-4 days of constant download time. I do not look forward to a digital only future. UPS is faster than my internet.



How fast is your internet and where do you live? I live in Milwuakee and get the 3mb/s for 25$ a month which is the slowest

I pay 60 a month for DSL and the broadband speed test shows my download speed is 1.24mb/s and my upload speed is.43mb/s

LOL, look at that. I pay $60/month for a grade F+ speed. I'm slower than 84% of the US.

Now that I think of it I could have went with DSL for the same price and I think it goes 720kb/s. Also, I checked the ISP website and I guess they offer 1mb/s... Now I don't remember what one I have because 1mb/ss is barely faster than the DSL my mom has and I remember telling my wife "its more than 3 times faster than my moms internet." Maybe they started offering different packages since I got mine about a year ago

LOL, people didn't like your story to much it seems. Some even calling you a liar and say it wasn't the ps3's fault. How could you possibly know that? Were you there? It may very well have just been his internet but surely given that it's his experience and not your own, you can't really "disagree" with him at any point at all.
