no surprise -gears was not coded by the original team,God of wars was.
God of wars main problem is because in Ascension Kratos is too human.Killing the complete Olymp as supergod in gow3 and than start to fight as human being you will lose the Epic momentum=huge step back.
The good thing is-now they left huge space for epic improvement as they haven't wasted the real good ideas for this spin off.In Gow4 Kratos can now fight the gods from asgard,the roman gods,the muslim genie,the jewish leviathan,the babylonian molech(bohemian grove),the four horseman.
Gears may have the problem to gain this momentum with the next sequel as too much was broken,but the game will sell better than god of war(in the us),as shooters are selling extremly god in the states-even such crap like AliensCM sold almost 400k.

I agree with multiplayer fanboys being the worst.  Went through the same thing with KZ3.  The multiplayer was actually really fun, even if it wasn't exactly like KZ2, but there was a large group of people who absolutely refused to give it a chance.  All they did was to write angry posts on the forums in all capital letters.  They didn't WANT to enjoy it, they just wanted to be sullen and angry and to make things miserable for those that were having fun.

Nope but I asked to the fans... and please just go to read the official GoW forum or others fan site to see with your own eyes.

The big problem is the non-fans didn't understood Kratos is a human in Ascensions... just it.

Well Gears is sitting with my Xbox waiting for me to return, I have no intention of buying God of War Ascension. So far I have every game in both series, so I hope I don't regret this decision...

The game is great, and very fun. Also the MP is quite entertaining

The last boss fight is so damn epic, and you deserve to play it.  I know you want to ;)

Gears: Judgment campaign is fairly good.

However........ modes like overrun & survival make the online portion of the game pretty poor to be honest. (only four maps for those two modes hardly helps either, boredom sets in very quickly)

Game is a 7.0 overall for me (my lowest Gears score by far)

Won't be long before i return to Gears 2 & 3 horde modes.

Gamers have a duty to inform the developers of their likes and dislikes of a product. That's one of the main reasons why developers make their forums. If gamers felt displeased with changes they shouldn't just shut up and let the developers do what they want. Developers want to please the consumers. The best way to do this is to let the consumers be open and tell them what pleases them and what doesn't. Otherwise, the developers risk releasing a series of games that become less and less in touch with what the fans want.

What I really want is my brother to buy the game, I get to play the Last of Us demo and then Ascension some time in the future

The thing is, I would be perfectly happy to replay 1-3 for their platinums and I basically never care for multiplayer
