Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Deus Ex for Wii U confirmed? What do you think?

So, a user on another forum linked to the following german podcast which I personally have never heard about and they are stating that one of their editors just came back from an event in 'murica where he has played the Wii U version of Deus Ex Human Revolution. Apparently the game also differs a lot from the other versions but nothing concrete is specified.

(it's german, from 13:43 to 14:00, really just a short drive by comment)

I'm still not entirely sure if I have asked for this. It depends on the amount of changes and the price. I wouldn't mind yet another "definitive" version and I love Deus Ex. Any thoughts on this source, the game or any new "didn't ask for this" pics?

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

The more games the better and if it's enhanced even better. People who went from only owning a Wii to only owning a Wii U are getting a great game. But people who have already played it will probably have little reason to pay for it again.

Meh. I want new games, not old ports.

i think this is gonna flop. Im not sure square is even trying anymore :(

Like I said, for me it depends on how much they have changed. If they have

overhauled the melee combat system,

fleshed out the ending and

more NPC variety with higher quality models (specifically the no name roamers, where every third person looks the same in the other versions)

I would definitely be on board for another spin. But I'm probably asking for way too much. I wouldn't be surprised if the "major changes" amount to off tv play and touchscreen hacking. So novel.

Interesting at least....we ll see.

No offense but that isn't going to sale anything at all. New games are what is going to sale the Wii U not 1 or 2 year old ports.

Hmmm, could be good

If they did this I think they'd be harassed to re-release it on PC again. Which Eidos has done before with like Tomb Raider: Gold, Thief Gold, or Deus Ex GoTY edition with an sdk etc. though thats a long long long ago.

unless it was a pristine port 1080p AA, and better character models. and I somehow ended up with a wii u.

My guess is the wii screen is going to be like the hot bar from the pc version.

If this is true, and though DE is my favorite Square-Enix Game in like the past 10 years. I don't understand why this one, and not hitman, sleeping dogs, Tomb Raider. FFXIII: Lightning Returns, Kingdom Hearts Collection, unless they are planning those.

If i wanted that game i could have bought it for €5(DLC included) on Steam during the last summer-sale, or the last fall sale, or the Christmas-sale. But i didn't because i didn't want it. This is insulting
