in your irrational fanboy faces! This has been quite obvious since day one really - some people just haven't been able to, or wanting to, realize facts. No surprise really.

it has nothing to do with being a fanboy, fact is, its very rare for anything to say exclusive, microsoft paid 50 million dollars for GTA4 episodic content and that didn't even stay exclusive, i still would bet my money on them being released on 360/ps3 with different names in a year or so after release.

Actually, MS used a deffered revenue moentary instrument for that $50 million DLC.   That means they didn't actually pay for the development directly in the manner you are thinking.  Go look up deffered revenue.  In other words, MS never paid a dime.  What they did was allow Rockstar to keep the first $50 million in DLC revenue.  And that was intended from the get go to only be a timed exclusive.

And no, paying for an exclusive title and funding the development of a title are two differnt things.   Usually paying for an exclusive means reducing or completely waiving the licensing fee.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Besides the fact that the games are funded and published by Nintendo, almost certainly under some kind of exclusivity contract, shouldn't that be PS4 and 720? The 360 and PS3 are about to be replaced, and it will be easier to port it to the newer consoles because then they won't have to worry about downgrading it.

the wiiu spec wise is close to current gen, i would think they would port it too 360/ps3, it has a huge user base.

Porting a game built around 1GB of RAM to systems with less than 512MB isn't a walk in the park. It's much harder than just porting the game to a more powerful system than the original, where no alterations will be needed.

i don't know this but the memory bandwidth is 2x faster on 360, thats even better then having 1 gb ram.

It really isn't. Especially when that's bandwidth for both read and write on 360. Situations with more than half a gig in assets, of which there are sure to be many, will need to be re-engineered, similar to how COD was crammed down to 91MB of RAM for the Wii.

quote from beyond3d

Note that translucency does reduce the amount of occlusion in the scene, meaning regardless of how the blending itself is handled the overall pressure on shading including texture fetch bandwidth is going to be higher than if those fragments were opaque (and early-Z is doing a good job). A game could, in theory, be texture bandwidth limited on Wii U where it wasn't on XBox 360 or PS3, due to having worse main memory bandwidth (if all the textures are coming from main memory), and in those cases increased pressure would make things worse.

Highlighted the important part; they're speculating. Developers have praised the Wii U's larger memory. The Gamecube had faster memory than the first Xbox too, but that doesn't mean it could run Halo 2. In the end, size matters. It matters a lot. And in the end, 1GB is much bigger than 480MB/462MB.

It makes sense to port to newer systems where no downgrading work would be needed, especially since the PS4 and 720 will likely be hot property at the time of Bayonetta 2's release. But it's very unlikely to happen anyway, since these are Nintendo-funded games we're talking about.

It's the same reason why even today Microsoft cannot release GoldenEye on the XBox even though they could come to an agreement with Activision (or whoever owns the Bond license now) and have ownership of Rareware.

Nintendo would have to allow it since they financed the original game.

Microsoft did actually start work on HD version of GoldenEye for XBL, but Nintendo shot it down when MS went to them and tried to work out a deal.

But MS can release Perfect Dark and Banjo-Kazooie because Nintendo sold the rights to those IP as part of the Rare deal. But any Rare game that used characters not specifically designed by Rare, and thus were licensed by Nintendo, such as say Mickey's Speedway (Nintendo paid for the Disney license) or GoldenEye (Nintendo paid for the Bond license) is a no-go, unless Nintendo allows it.

right now at moment everything is in theory, beyond3d are still not sure about the sp count, there still trying to figure it out, it could be any where from 160sp-320sp, so we really don't know if wiiu is more powerful  or weakerthen current gen at the moment atleast thats what i understood from reading beyond3d.

now your just mixing things up, your talking about owning an ip, which is totally different then money hatting or financing a third party company. to me money hatting financing is the samething, the only problem we here is this has never been done before so we can't do a comparison.

Pretty sure the RAM is a known quantity, is it not? I thought that was one thing that was obvious from dissections?

What do you mean? a year after w101 and/or bayo2 is released you're willing to make that bet??

yea but like i said speed is more important then size.
