It should get close to 18mil unless Vita prevents it IMO

You think it will get the 20mil? or close?
I don't think it can reach 20 Million by the end of the year in Japan. Then again, people are expecting Pokemon X and Y to sell upwards of 20 Million, so I guess anything is possible. Let's throw all the rules out the window!
With the pokemon boost it should be quite alot im still going for my 18-19mil
Okay... 10,000,000 divided by 52 is 192,307.
So, it's not completely impossible, but not even the original DS grew by 10 million in a single year in Japan (If it did and my memory has forsaken me, please correct me). But, I'd say 7 or 8 million is more realistic, if not somewhat unlikely. If Iwata unveils a 3DS Lite, or there's a price drop, or both, then all bets are off. But it sold 5.5 million in Japan in 2012 and it was considered to have exceeded expectations, so let's not hold our breath for something more than 7 or possibly 8 million.
It's going to be 3DS's biggest year, for sure, but probably not 10-million big.
you want the 3ds to do this year as much as it did in its first two years combined? hell no. its impossible
I'm more inclined towards 6.5 million; however, if a 3DS Lite is announced maybe 7.5
