That actually took place in acncient japan.

The Playstation 3 has made the spot warm for that which was destined for last place.

Hare and the Tortoise.

Slow and Steady wins the race.

Etc.

This is wrong by the way. The real gap decreased by about 5.2 Million units this Year so far. 6 Million by the end of the Year?...

With the following week being in favour of the 360 and the week after also in favour of the 360 that gain is going to come down.

Slow going.

1m to go?

we definitely need a gap chart at the end of the year, covering the whole year.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

it'll grow a bit next two weeks, but this uear the two are so close (because 360 is down so much) that ps3 will hold and take it all back again during the last two weeks. Then we look to business as usual with a strong winter lineup.
If ms cares about these numbers, we should see a price drop incoming.

If next Xbox is out in 2013, they really are stretching out these prices for profit. But if they sell, then they sell.

Spring 2013 might have that aggressive drop to clear a path to November. I think MS said at E3 that their goal was to sell more "for the generation". They can easily last 1 more year.

They don't.

this gen it's quite clear for MS that it is mission accomplished.

Their mission was to be first at the begining of the gen. They decided to take on Sony because they thought thats who they would need to beat but got wiped the floor with by Nintendo. Again, another failed mission by MS

Lol. Riiiiight. Sony also said and certainly expected to be 1st. They failed big time. Ms will more than double their install base this gen. It's very very much mission accomplished.  Your answer says a lot about you.

Everyone wanted to be first but I distinctly remember Microsoft saying they wanted to win the generation
