Not impressed. I think it wont surpass Wii's sales or domination. Next gen will be interesting.

Sales have been Solid, it wont do Wii numbers which doesnt bother me one bit. 50-60 million in lifetime sales will be a moderate success. If it goes on to sell slightly less im sure Nintendo will still make a profit on it, Just like Gamecube. Give it a chance, its only been out a couple of weeks, and whos to say that Microsoft and Sonys next offerings are going to fare any better or be superior, Sony especially cant afford to sell another console at a massive loss.

Don't think they're impressive or unimpressive really. Could definitely be a lot better, but I didn't have these sky-high Wii/PS2 expectations that other people seemed to have, so they look alright to me. Will review after holidays to see where it's at!

I predicted about the same launch numbers in the U.S. in another thread poll so it's within my expectations at least. If it had sold more, it would've 'amazed' me, but realistically I didn't think as many people knew about the Wii U as they did the Wii at launch. So it's about as much as I expected. The one thing that Nintendo will always has on their side, even if they don't get much third party support, there will always be games for the Wii U like Mario and Zelda. Which is good, it keeps them in the game.

It's funny seeing people saying that because the Wii U haven't sold as many units as the Wii then they're "not impressed". That's pretty silly imo, the sales are impressive when you compare it to other consoles (minus the Wii and the Europe launch). So the sales are fine, they're not mind blowing but definitely good. 

Considering the Wii U sold about 450,000 in the first week, 300,000 in the second week, and 325,000 in just two days in Japan (it came out on the 8th), I'd say I'm pretty damn impressed. Also, WOOO 1 million!

They're selling all the systems they're making, apparently, and this is without store displays and very little advertisement.

They know who their early audience is, and they're capitalizing on it.

Not impressed at all. Wii U launch is pretty meh. Nothing amazing really. It's pretty horrible in Europe though.
