HELL NO @ Twilight Princess.
It was the finest game last generation, an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. Skyward Sword, on the other hand...

I second this; Fez was utterly tedious.
Twilight princess is straight up awesome sauce. Also Wii sports was never rated to highly.

Most of what you said I don't really know about, but if you say Half Life 2 I will have to beat you with a hammer. It was a basic shooter yes, but it revolutionized every aspect of graphics and animation and AI that we use today. Half Life 2 was the first game to actually have almost all of the things we set benchmarks for when reviewing games. Not to mention having first rate acting and a top notch storyline.
List of things that didn't exist before HL2: Facial expressions, lip syncing in a game, physics - Note, im not saying that HL2 improved on these, im saying they didn't exist prior to HL2.
Hint, anytime you see someone complain about HL2 being overrated, you can basically figure out instantly that those are the children on the forum...
Also add Metal Gear Solid 4 to the list. Soo many people were dumbfounded that its not on any greatest games of all time lists.... Its not on them because it wasn't that great.

you sound like a child saying that honestly. Also facial expressins and physics didn't exist prior to HL2? your wrong man lol.
I don't agree with Halo:CE being on the list. At the time it was released, it was very entertaining to play and had quite a unique look and feel to it. Granted some of the level design was awful and parts of the campaign got quite tedious, but as a whole package I thought it was great.
If you were to point to a Halo game that's overrated I'd say Halo 3 fits the bill. There's probably no game that could live up to the level of hype the media, advertising and fans managed to generate prior to the launch of that title. Personally once I played it I was massively disappointed, if felt more like Halo 2.5 but with some gameplay changes I found frustrating, this despite the 10's critics were throwing at it and the hundreds of hours I'd put into the previous installment.
I wouldn't say Gears Of War is overrated. While I didn't enjoy the game that much, I thought the production values were high, the world seemed interesting and I found it was very fun to use that chainsaw assault rifle, despite the authors criticisms of it. I suppose it looked on the surface like it might have a very engaging plot, but Epic have never in their history really focused on plot. (Haven't played Shadow Complex though.)
Super Meat Boy looks very mediocre. It got sensational reviews however so I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, but nothing I've seen of it inspired me to want to find out more or even play it.
Wii Sports? Nah, I don't think so. It has average reviews from critics and you don't hear Nintendo fans bringing it up often. Sales do not equal quality and it's actually quite fun to play as a party game.
