The worst of it is there focusing all their time on the same crappy games instead of changing it up with something like Versus, they keep working on other games instead.

I loved FF XIII and liked FFXIII-2 but I'm sick of it. I don't even care how the story ends! I just want them to devote thei efforts to something else!!!!

Well I think despite how unfavourable some of us were to FF13 and FF13-2, I think Lightning Returns is a good idea. With each game they get feedback from the audience on how to improve the next game. Apparently they did that with FF13-2, and I think they will do that with Lightning Returns. FF13 was far from perfect, but it seems they are learning and hopefully when this team moves over to the next cycle of consoles they will get a lot better.

Sales wise it will likely be less than FF13-2, however I don't know what their expecting, its not a game that I think anyone desperately wants. The series has suffered a major blow on the Xbox console though. I'm unsure on whether that damage can be repaired.

the second wasnt needed clearly by the ending of the 1st. it was a clear cut ending. But business is about making money and they knew a second one would and did make them profit. and lightning returns will aswell. as they reuse assets etc production will be alit cheaper. thats all there is to it really

13 was very lame and barely playable. 13-2 was a retarded mess, and was also barely playable. Platted both out of pride though.

Maybe for SE to make some more money out of their investments for the '13-series'. I mean guaranteed million-seller... duh.

Personally I enjoyed -2 a little more over 13 so i'm expecting more improvements.

In my opinion, no, it's not necessary.

I got half way through XIII before I felt the need to quit playing. I simply did not like the game. And I haven't even considered trying XIII-2, much less 3. I'm tired of this crap, give us Versus XIII.
