There is also multiple years going into dev cycles, and I am sure games coming out now weren't planned for the WiiU.  I am sure games in the planning stage now are planning on the WiiU also.

not to say that couldn't be true.. but that would be a pretty bad business decision imo.  it made sense when CoD BOII was announced and the wiiU wasn't fully details.   ..but now that wiiU is out if nintendo had announced (or previously announced) games coming to their system they should be shouting from the rooftops they are getting bioshock, tomb raider, dark souls, GTAV, ect.  

there is a big amount of buzz at a game's announcement.  why would nintendo want to miss out on being part of those headlines?

no.. wiiU is Nintendo's console gearing up to compete with whatever MS/SONY comes up with..

Anyway that has had the misfortune to watch the VGA's in the past knows that Nintendo gets all but ignored their. Why would anyone get butthurt by Nintendo's lack of presence there? Should we expect you to do a similar thread about TGS Turkish? It would fit in with your obvious agenda.

Since when Nintendo announced stuff on the VGA's? Nintendo Directs have become more interesting in the matter of announcing games.

Oh man, this is pretty sad.

I'll try to make it simple enough for you to understand. There are 4 consoles on the store shelves. All of them are competing for a customer who walks in to the said store. Do you understand?

Of course the Wii U is competing with the PS3 and 360. Just like the 7th generation consoles competed with the PS2 back in 2005-2007. The WIi U has fight the PS3 and 360 over consumers. Translatation: It is competing with the PS3 and 360 over consumers. And the PS3 and 360 are putting up a good fight. That's not to say the PS360 have 'won' over the Wii U because of their larger install base. No, the Wii U was not competing with the PS360 for the past few years. But now, and for the next few months, the Wii U is definitely competing with PS360 over consumers.
