these are weekend sales, not a full weeks worth. For the weekend of its launch it did 40k, EU also recieved less units than the US, in the US they say it did around 400K first week, 40k in 2 days is 10%, of the US first week during a huge shopping week. If the final weeks numbers dont look much better than maybe its in trouble, but well see.

I call BS. Nothing can sell less than the vita. I don't even think that number exists.

Another absurd thread. launch sales means absolutely NOTHING in terms of long term success/not success. Legendary PS2 sold 46K in first week in UK, lol. X360 sold 70K in 72 hours (Wii U data based on 48 hours) And even Dreamcast sold 101K!! Where's DC, 360 and where's PS2?

The same goes to US > X360 - 326K in november 2005, PS3 - 197K in november 2006, GC - more than 300K in november 2001, Dreamcast - 225,000 DAY ONE in september (!) - again, all those systems sold very differently lifetime, which is another point of "useless" launch sales data for some kind of analizzz.

Also, it is said that another wave of consoles aren't coming till the middle of december in UK.
