Are they using the AC engine for this? Sure looks like it...The textures are really low res

Assassin's Creed? Now why would Crystal Dynamics use Ubi's engine?

Hmm I somehow thought Ubisoft was producing it, nvm lol. But it sure does look a lot like AC's engine (only worse)

i believe aquare is developing it but not sure

but wth is going on with the pic you quoted? that grass and the guys face looks like ps2

What is this, the Wii version? :P

I hope those pictures are diminished in quality, because it really doesn't look good. I remember the game looking a lot better from previous pics/trailers, so I'm going to assume these are just bad examples.

Still looks really good, but they've dialed back the graphics
, some, from that first footage they showed. Regardless, I can't wait, I've always felt that the Tomb Raider games had the best exploration.

yea that was the first thing i noticed, but it's still a buy. you making the official thread? the dial back may just be for these screen shot, and to have something out there?

did you enjoy the last Tomb raider game? i've yet to play it.

Nah, Crystal Dynamics is the dev. Square's publishing.

yeah i meant publisher because that would be the one they could maybe use the engine from as dev.

I am beginning to get the "overhyped - low score game" vibe with this one.  Because how the graphics are getting worst, and the "not survival" gameplay direction of the game.

I had high hopes for this... but looking at this after the infos, I can say that I am very sad. This TB feels like it's focused on "look the game" than "play the game"..
