Vita sales are very disappointing, I expected 100k or more since it's Black Friday and the bundles got a $50 pricecut. Even 3DS had a larger increase with only one bundle (and that bundle was just Super Mario 3D Land packed in, same as last year).

So Vita sold less globally than 3DS in any one of the 3 regions?

And half of regular DS in USA?

That sucks. If you haven't played one, go see a demo or something.

If you like games at all, you should have gotten on the Amazon bundle.

I fear for future of Vita.

Battle Royale opened better then I thought.

Halo 4 and Forza 4 continue to make me smile :)



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

360 still managing close to 1 million after such a long time on the market, damn impressive!
Their numbers are ludicrously lopsided though, could be a problem next gen if they can't grab a hold of more than US and UK, hard to compete globally at length that way (yes, I know, the 360 is still ahead of the PS3 but it could be a whole lot farther ahead if it had more appeal in Europe and any appeal at all in Japan).

Wii U pre-orders not massive, apparently, I feel more certain than ever that this craze will never reach anything near the level of the original Wii.

Hmm looks like Blacks Ops will have good legs, it is above MW3 2nd week sales...

Maybe it was black Friday but still impressive, looks like Blacks Op2 will beat Black Ops sales in the end...

Even in the UK, Black Ops 2 sells more in the 2nd week then MW3...

Why would you? It's the biggest market in the world. You want to pretend those people, ( WHAT DO YOU MEAN THOSE PEOPLE!!! ) just vanish of the earth? I've read similar comments before. It is just an odd way of looking at it.

the Xbox 360 did excellent this black Friday week, gaming is synonymous with the Xbox. Given the average decline in the console business this year, those are pretty respectable numbers. The ps3 didn't do too terriblely either. Vita is disappointing but I feel Sony will not give up on it, Current HD consoles should have no threat from the Wii U in any form.
