I know , but they already said they weren't about a month ago, they changed their mind quickly , what I meant.

yeah, if valve streams the steam games, i'd be eventually in. otherwise... i don't think so.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

This just in: guy who works for Valve thinks Valve is the future. In other news, guy who works for Sony thinks the Vita isn't doomed.

Oh, man... No, just... no... Even Sony employees knows it's doomed...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

This sounds like apple pippin to me. Pc gamers, the primary valve customers, would not be interested because pc gaming is superior to consoles and unless they use windows, it will be hard to get third party support for their box.

It sounds like this is Valve's attempt for the non-PC gamer base.

But I'm sure everyone who already enjoys games on their PCs won't care what Valve does in the console race, as long as they keep doing good work with Steam.

This is something they probably want kept secret why would they want to tell everyone so early on?

PC role model making a console?

Am I the only one seeing the irony?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

If Steam builds a console all buy themselves, it will fail big time.
They don't have any mass market appeal.
They don't have any experience with hardware.
They don't have any experience as a publisher.
They don't have any experience with mass marketing.

All they did so far is a gaming store / platform with digital distribution. Yeah, the internet likes them, but this is not enough to sell 50million+ consoles.

I expect Valve to fail if they really go that route.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
