Agreed.

Woot, after a break for Wii U launch I'm back (too much information both positive and negative for me to cope - hope everyone steamed off and that doesn't repeat in the next launches (europe and japan).

Now back to my favorite thread :)

Yay, 3DS - hardly a drop, and that's fantastic, as last week was already fantastic. Animal Crossing second week... almost as high as the previous game first week!

I expected a little more for Vita hardware this week and a little less for Ass Creed (15-20k and 20k respectively), but at least not dead numbers again, breaking the cycle of 6 "new lows", and that's important. It won't reach "new highs" anytime soon, but at least I think it won't go back to sub 5k for a long while.

And Lee Brave slowed down a little, but its job is already done. Mission accomplished... and here's to 300k.

Why is a western game pushing the Vita in japan? O_o

It's not just AC3:L, there were also two new colors for the hardware introduced last week.

I see.

Do you think it'll drop back or rise further towards the holidays?

I LOVE ICELAND!

What are the odds of Summon Night 4 getting localized.

Vita has new colours, 3DS had an NSMB 2 bundle. That's why the Vita goa boost and 3DS retained high sales (Still I think AC has kept hardware at high numbers as well). Overall fantastic two weeks for the 3DS! Has a chance of 6 million in Japan alone this year which is phenomenal!

Vita will drop next week, no new releases.
If we use the other color (white) as a model, than sales will be halved, as it went to 22k to 11k from week to week.

Of course, holiday effect may influence a little too.
Day 29 will have two "new" games for Vita that will rise it a little - Atelier Totori+ and Fate/Stay Realta Nua.

Really good second week for Animal Crossing. I expected a big drop from the 3DS but I had forgot about the new bundle.

Well, at least it shouldn't drop below 10k for the rest of the year. This week got nothing impressive, but Atelier Totori releases on the 29th, that game should be moderately successful and give the Vita a boost. Then it's three weeks until that AKB game comes out for both the PSP and PSV.

So after looking at the release schedule, it looks to be an up and down thing from now until the end of the year, rather than a gradual increase. Don't ask me though what kind of heights we can expect. I have no idea other than that it is going to pale in comparison to the 3DS.

Atelier Totori won't reach 30k FW, imo. It won't do much for hardware.

I'm not too familiar with the series, but some people say that Fate/Stay will do 100k+ on Vita. If that's true I think it might be bigger than even AKB. The PS2 game did 130kFW and 180kLT.

Anyway, next week is sub 10k for sure, imo, but it may be the last.

3DS only what matters in Japan just like Xbox 3 will be only what matters in Americas next gen and will sell 100m alone there.

Ps4 for Europe with 200m alone.

Wii U am doooomed with less than 10m by 2020.

hahaha just joking around.
