I'd sure like to know what the attitude of core gamers who DON'T go on this website is. I'm sure they're not anywhere nearly as hostile.

I assume it's much worse on other websites, because VGC has a higher than usual percentage of Nintendo fans.

Isn't the general attitude to Wii U just apathy/don't care it exists? It doesn't have any new games for the core, they care as much as they did about the N-Gage, and it won't affect the market like Wii did.

The people who really care are Nintendo fans who don't like what they see.

every site says the ports are almost the same as their PS360 version, but if you see the graphics comparison of Batman on GT you see WiiU looks worst.

No it isn't... Just take a look at this post: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4897413

Well, regarding the graphics in Batman GT showed that the textures take some time to load in some scenarios.

Texture loading is an UE3 thing.   It's imply not a very mature engine on Wii U yet.  Notice how most of the Wii U games people are griping about graphically are UE3 based games?  Also notice how Batman and Mass Effect 3 are not even developed by the original developers?

Look how long it's taken it to run well on PS3.  Wait, it still doesn't.

Indeed they want it to fail. I even walked into a retailer this morning and they did not have any Wii Us at all! Couldnt go yesterday as stores are not open on Sundays here in Germany.

So we are getting lousy ports yet again, and exclusive games that are not worth the code that was written on them. ZombiU is getting mixed reviews, Turkish has post a screen shot of Batman that makes me want to be sick to my stomach, and we are getting Mass Effect 3.

The one Batman-Screenshot is from a Bug in the game where Textures are not being loaded. Overall the Wii U version looks better and has higher texture resolution.

And the Cut-Scenes in the PS360-Version are prerendered, the ones in Wii U are executed via in game engine. Most pictures that are presented to show the "better" graphics on PS360 are from these cut scenes.

Why should have a question mark following it. Those exclamation points are unacceptable.

Seriously though, what do you find to be so horrible about this launch when compared to any other?

I can assure you that Rayman Legends being in all of the Wii U demo units was Nintendo's call. Btw, it was also the only game available on Nintendo World Store's displays, although I don't know if thats changed since I last went.

When a retailer has a Wii U display IT'S PAID AD SPACE. The person who is paying for the space determines what goes there and what is on it. Retailers have no say in what games they put on.

What do you mean? The system isn't even out in the eu until th 30. november.
do you mean they're not getting any?

Let's not get carried away now.. All console launches are riddled with crappy ports and multiplatform titles. Just be happy we got a damn good 2D Mario game. Remember the 360 launch? It was like the Wii u launch without the awesome Mario game. Developers who release games for console launches tend to rush their games out in order to make the deadlne . Not to mention the fact that they are working on entirely new hardware and need some time to get acquainted with it.

The quality of the third party games looks to already improve in the next few months. Rayman, Wonderful 101, Lego City Stories, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter all look solid.

While I don't think third parties take their efforts on Nintendo hardware too seriously, I doubt they want them to fail. It'd be a major hit to their industry if they failed.
