Different GameStop managers saying different things? Why I never!

I hear future shop is pretty good with preorders.

When I worked at gamestop (funcoland) a long long time ago one thing we did strive from all the stores under our DM was one unified voice for major stuff so not to confuse the customer when they visited the different stores.  Guess that culture didnt carry over.  

I think people's records speak for themselves, especially for sports.  Phil Jackson is a proven winner with his Triangle Offense and would have been the better fit for LA (again), he can manage egos because he has been there and done that.  Mike D'Antoni has had success in regular seasons, but his teams are defense deficient and thats why they are early exits in the playoffs.  He couldnt manage Carmelo or Amare or Jeremy Lin, and Carmelo is tame compared to Kobe.  I see a lot of clashes, especially if they dont win.  The Lakers need to start looking for their future stars because I dont see the core of this group staying more than one year.

The "D'Antoni doesn't know defense" notion is bogus. New York was 10th in the league in defensive efficiency when they fired him and Phoenix was also always middle of the pack in defense as far as I remember. Kobe has a lot of respect for D'Antoni since he has seen him play in italy when he was a child and also played under him in international tournaments twice. Mike is literally the next best fit after Phil Jackson and looking at Phils demands and overall situation, Mike is a way better long term fit for the team. But I hate the Lakers, so I hope they suck :D

This is weird timing. Just got an email from Best Buy: my order is on the way!

I was second at my local Gamestop (I believe someone who worked there was first). I was in there yesterday picking up the "Nerf Armor" early so I could pick the color I wanted (Black/Blue, as opposed to the Black/Orange or Black/Pink). He let me know they were back there, I failed to convince him to give it to me before Sunday though.

Great news for the industry.

I tried it out for the first time in Gamestop the other day and while the controller was a bit on the large side and would no doubt require a bit of getting used to, it still felt light and comfortable.
