Okay guys I made a thread asking for help regarding a build a little while back. My quadcore baby is all up and running.

Just need some steam friends and some game recommendations /

My steam id is Hoshi and i enjoy a bit of everything.

Mine is Brendude13.

You should probably get Bethesda games, the Crysis games, DayZ, the Portal games, the Left 4 Dead games and Just Cause 2. Those are my favourite games from my Steam collection.

Don't buy loads of games now, just wait for Steam sales around the year, or you will feel like an idiot when they do come around

The christmas sale is coming up so wait a while. My favorites on steam would have to be Skyrim, Witcher 2, and portal 2. If you are wanting to see a beautiful game go with Witcher 2, Crysis, or maybe Metro 2033. Skyrim also, you can add mods to make it look even better. Go look up some photo realistic mods for skyrim.

Ah right o. I'm still figuring my way around. Is the witcher 1 worth a play? Just got crysis 2 on ps+

Are you a big RPG fan? I would consider it worth a playthrough but it won't tax your newly built system.

Where did you buy these? that is a good price overall, and you have the same GPU that I am using.

Take munkeh's advice , just buy the games that you want to play, new year is coming soon , also black friday (?) so they're going to make huge discounts, and you'll end up having 40 + games on your steam account.

Definitely listen to munkeh's advice, especially when it comes to newer games on Steam, but for now you can't go wrong with many of the Valve classics like the Half-life series, and I highly recommend Torchlight 2. It's not exactly a graphical powerhouse, but it's a highly addicting Diablo-style lootfest at under $20. Will keep you buys for weeks if not months, and before you know it those amazing Steam sales will be here.

Oh, and Team Fortress 2 is an amazing multiplayer game. And it's FREE!.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Starcraft II!

What is a budget PC? $2,000... $500? You forget a budget is what ever one individual can afford and you don't even give your budget to people, nor which pieces you need to buy. So this thread is stupid and pointless guessing. No one can help you.

^@trasharmdsister12 you beat me to it pal.

I see these steam sales as I see ps plus. Stopping me from buying games in fear they will turn up on offer.
Picked up the dawn of war 1 and 2 set with all expansions for under 20 pounds!!!
Tempted to pick up crysis and warhead bundle and try out the extreme immersive mod from the other thread. Although I have no idea where to begin regarding mods.

Ynwa.

Get the Prototype pack from amazon.com for like 9.99$. It has Prototype 1, 2 and the radnet DLC, all steam keys.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
