nope, y would u even ask such a thing

Because, if homosexuality is a sin and damnable by God, why would you willingly bring a person who will go to hell into this world?

Homosexual acts are sinful. Also EVERYONE is a sinner. No one is above sin. Being a sinner does not in any way mean you ''go'' to hell, regardless of the severity of a sin.

To answer the question, no i wouldn't. Even if i have a gay son (as much that would hurt me) i most certainly wouldn't deny him a chance to live and have a life, like many other pro choice people would. And i dont think being queer is a sin, much less a ''hell worthy'' sin

maybe back in the past, let's say pre anti-discrimination act 1977 establish in Australia. Where people LGBT were freely ridiculed if they were deem unacceptable to the general populace polarising views. I would then consider abortion or coercing my spouse to terminate her fetus. Now in the modern era, not so much, I prefer to have offspring regardless of his/her gender even if they all turn out to be gay, the world is for the living after all. I don't believe in the "gay-gene" although I won't argue with those who does.

Is this a serious question?

Why not? Take it as it is and answer it.

Can you give me even one reason why I would want to abort in the case I'm not deeply religious? And even if I were deeply religious and would consider being gay a sin, wouldn't I also consider abortion a sin?

No way. You have to be very mad and bad person to do something like this.

We need moar Zelda, now!

We need moar Unchartedzz!

We need less DLCs.

If I knew my unborn child was going to be gay, I WOULD NOT abort him/her. It sickens me to know that homophobia's still rampant in 2012.

no, no, no! What a horrible question.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

yeah I would do it if it was still verry young as I do not want my kid to go through what I went through in life!

anywho you don't burn in hell because of you being gay its because of you acting upon those feelings. you get punished for your actions not your thoughts as thoughts of doing something can always be stopped before it happens so therefore you cannot be judged on something you have not done yet anyone that tells you otherwise seriously need to do some research!

edit:

just checked if I am allowed to do abortion in Islam and its not allowed unless absolutely necessary like if a women's body is not able to support a baby and that it might kill her if she keeps it.

letting things take their own course is the natural way but at least I will be there for the child at the early stages so he/she won't have a hard time.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Some good answers in here. I agree with above though that many of you really need to answer more than just 'yes' or 'no'.

I mean there is a lot to this question.

Do you believe gays are sinning and will go to hell?
Do you believe gays go through a massive amount of torture and ridicule pretty much everywhere in the world?
Do you think as a parent your job is to protect and your child and as such allowing them to be born into this world as a homosexual is purposefully allowing them to sin and/or live through physical and emotional hell on Earth?
How can you be so cruel to your child?

I suppose I could expand my answer through those questions:

Do you believe gays are sinning and will go to hell?

 - No.

Do you believe gays go through a massive amount of torture and ridicule pretty much everywhere in the world?

 - No, not everywhere. Especially not where I live. But yes, that is a great issue in some parts of the world.

Do you think as a parent your job is to protect your child and as such allowing them to be born into this world as a homosexual is purposefully allowing them to sin and/or live through physical and emotional hell on Earth?

- Yes, as a parent I should always protect my child. But I really don't think they would go through an emotional hell. Especially given how several television profiles and celebrities in my country are gay, which helps them becoming even more accepted by society. Not to mention that all forms of sexuality based discrimination is forbidden.

How can you be so cruel to your child?

- I do my best.
