Wow, Vita dropped hard! I was expecting maybe 20k until it dropped back into the teens, but all the way down to 11k???

Possibilities? I guess...The GC also had spikes when big games came out, but then it dropped back to where it was and sold very poorly in Japan.

I was quite pessimistic about Vita this week but I thought it'd do around 20k at least. When I use the Near app everyone seems to be playing Hatsune Miku BTW (live in Japan).

PS3 is going lower and lower, it wasn't that long ago that it was selling 25k a week, I think even last year it was selling around that pretty regularly.

PSP needs to die, it's still surprisingly popular here, I see loads of people playing it and many PSP games being sold. Then again, they sell really old games everywhere here, today I saw a shop that sold GBC and SNES games among others. Second hand is huge here from what I see.

3DS is just set to become the "standard" console in Japan.

I told you last week that Miku will drop at least by 80%. Otakus buy their Waifus day one. The Vita drop supports the thoery that there will be a lot of used Vitas and Project Diva games in Japan the coming weeks. They literally only bought the game and the device, it had no effect on the overall Vita economy at all. Maybe someone living there could investigate?

unless VITA can have noticable games releasing every week, it needs to have a higher baseline sale number than what it is now.
