Making the PS Move the standard controller would be the best.

But failing that, they should make it larger, more curved, improve the D-pad and triggers, put textures on the analogs to avoid slippage, and improve the accuracy (and use of) Six Axis.

Oh yeah, I forgot Six Axis would still be inside the touchscreen DS4 and games would most likely only utilize it for gameplay on the controllers screen and not like it was for PS3 which fell kind of flat. It would also be important for playing PS Mobile games.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

You don't mess with an icon. The dual shock is just that. No other controller has lasted beyond one generation and this one made it to the end of three. I see it as part of the PS legacy and brand as a whole and don't think it should be messed with. Add something to it, sure...but the basic lay out, shape, look and feel should not change.

I just want it BIGGER for god sake. I am an adult, not 13 years old anymore.

pretty much this.  the layout of the dual shock is fine overall but i prefer the 360 controller just because it's size is more ergonomic for me.

...i really, really don't under stand why all  3 (nintendo/sony/MS) all don't officially support at least 2 sizes of controllers.  seems like a no brainer that kids and adult hands aren't the same size and peripherials tend to make money.

Ahem! Adult here, I like the size as is. I'd say I have medium hands, so perhaps those with massive dinnerplate-sized hands with huge sausage fingers might experience problems to which I can't relate. So I won't say don't make it bigger, but I would say there's probably only a minority of adults for whom the controller is objectively too small.

As I'm used to PS sized controllers I find 360 controllers to look rather monstrous and unweildy. But I've never used one so I can't say that they are monstrous and unwieldy.

Which one's the 360 controller? The monstrous and unwieldy one or the gargantuan and terrifying one?

Yeah it is a bit outdated. Plus those the L and R buttons keep causing me problems! Personally I think the 360 has the best classic control design ever.

i'm not calling you out as not being an adult lol.  all i'm saying is this:

...there are quite a range in hand sizes.  ms/sony/nintendo are trying to capture all sides of the market.   ..so why have a "one size fits" all approach??  i could use one a bit bigger.  i've seen kids in desprite need of something smaller.   why not officially support a couple sizes ... i'm sure they'd sell more controllers overall which is always sold at a profit.  where is the down side?

..wii had least gave out those condoms.  a pain to take on/off but the wii mote by itself was waaay to small for my hand.

I want the boomerang controller!

You should work for Sony, Chark.

I'm trying, lol. (serious, creating a social media internship right now so I can jump ship to California and follow the dream) Got any ins?

Just show them that picture and I'm sure they'll beg for you to come in.

I don't want a complete redesign at all. Just some improvements to the sticks and the R/L2 buttons and I'm good to go

The D-Pad an face buttons of Dual-Shock controller are best in class

I want the thumbsticks and triggers to learn a little something from the X360 controller (whose d-pad sucks and face buttons meh)

Lol, damn that thing was obese. I'll never understand why the Start/Select and Black/White buttons were moved to such an inconvenient place.

I am the Playstation Avenger.
