Does anyone know if you can play DS games from USA on a 3DS from Europe, this has been bothering me for awhile now and I am going to the US in December, so this is a good opportunity for me to buy some DS games, like for example the Layton games for the DS.

I think DSi enhanced games - black cartridges - are region locked.

But the big majority of games aren't - of the list the only ones you probably might know is Pokémon Black and White and Mario vs DK - Mini-Mayhen. Probably Black and White 2 will be too.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Did you know that Nintendo wanted to beat the Guiness record of people making chweing gum bubbles? Well, they did it!

http://www.siliconera.com/2012/09/02/kirby-fans-break-guinness-world-record-for-blowing-chewing-gum-bubbles/

Last week, Nintendo of America announced that, on September 1st, they were going to gather a large number of people at the Penny Arcade Expo, and have them attempt to break a Guinness World Record in honour of Kirby.

The record, in celebration of Kirby’s 20th anniversary, was for the most number of people blowing chewing gum bubbles at once. As of last week, the record stood at 304 people, achieved by the Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on October 27th, 2010.

That record has now been broken. Nintendo of America proudly shot out an announcement this morning that they managed to gather 536 PAX attendees and have them blow a bubble all at once in celebration of Kirby’s anniversary.

Also in celebration of Kirby’s 20th anniversary is a release planned for Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition on September 16th for the Wii. This compilation contains the first six Kirby games, along with new challenge stages.

That information he`s not allowed to share.
Well, he did say surprises and not surprise. My guess is that since U4 engine is really scalable, Epic or someone made an engine for Wii U based on that.

Doesn`t mean we will see the best the engine has to offer, but could be a bonus for the future ports of PS4/Xbox 720 games.

Yeah, I guess so. Imagine if the Wii is also compatible, not a chance, but that would be surprising!!!

That would be amazing! :D

Truth is, Crytek has been saying that Cry Engine 3 does what UE4 does and has confirmed that the engine is being used to make games for Wii U. So, UE4 on Wii U seems likely.

Hey guys, this is my second Article for this site. Stop by if you can and leave a comment. It is SNES related. Kind of nervous and not sure how good it is, but I figured I would test it out in this thread.

I am not too thrilled with how the editors placed ads though.... :P

Didn't realize you wrote articles! Not bad, but the ad placements are iffy (I hate having the "similar to this article" at the bottom of mine!), but good job! Could be critical, but you and I are fledgling writers, so now is not the time for that.

Also, having UE4 for WiiU and even 3DS would be a major boon for Nintendo and 3rd parties...
