I hope you all have fun with it, but I seriously don't get these reviews. It must have quite a few positive aspects, but to ME (NOTE: IMO!) it looks sooo borrrrring!

I watched this video and I had to skip a few minutes to actual see something happening.

what makes this game unique? I played Splosion Man and loved it for being entertaining 2D plattformer, I played Braid and thought it was a great plattformer with really cool puzzle elements, I played Super Meat Boy and yelled at my TV whenever I failed at a level, but still liked it. Limbo had a unique atmosphere that really made it unique. I still have to find out what makes Journey a good game. Sure as hell it did not happen in these 20 minutes.

*edit* and if it is really 3 hours long, I just watched 11% of the whole game!

Your opinion is not unexpected.

Thatgamecompany is going multiplat, have you heard?

As long as they don't produce the games I like, I don't even care. Why do you think I dislike the game only for being PS3 exclusive? Heck I don't even dislike it, I just think it looks boring. I do not dislike games that are not available on my console of choice so stop making this s... stuff ... up. Thanks.

No offence mate but your comment was pointless and just looking for attention. This thread is showing all the amazing review scores this masterpiece is getting and come in and say that YOU found it boring by just looking at a video.....real mature there mate.

Probably not it has to beat out World of Goo who is sitting at 94 for Wiiware. Though I expect it to end high 80's to low 90's either way I'll be picking this up after I finish Flower.

I hate you....

the iOS vesion of World of Goo is sitting at 96....

after saying that.. I once love you again..

yea both iOs version are at 96 metas .. with 6 reviews each

it's easier to keep a high meta with so few reviews

Not to mention it seems that iOS games are held to lower standards.

Great example is Dead Space on on iOS and Android. The game has an 88 Metascore, so it is as if they are implying that it is 100% on par with the PS3 version and actually BETTER than the PC version.

When you take this simple fact into account you quickly realize that scores can not be compared.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

You don't care? So why'd you come in to say it looked boring?

Even moreso, you defended your comment that it was boring when someone said the magic was about playing the game, not watching it. Lot of effort for someone who doesn't care.

there is no reason to attack DirtyP, it's to be expected that some people don't see any appeal in this sort of game and there is nothing wrong with it

it's actually pretty fortunate he understands that the game won't satisfy his personal needs just by watching the video, so he won't make the mistake to buy it or similar titles

@DirtyP2002 play the game first.

And yes, Flower is a must to have game... unique... and best motion control game I have played.

Exactly, so quit fighting him about it, guys.  Back to the point of the thread.

He was asking if it was necessary to play Flower to be able to play and/or have an opinion on Journey.

He simply said he watched the video and did not find the appeal. That happens.

The problem is that kind of game is to be played due the atmosphere... not watched... the videos from Flower is boring too... so his comment is pointless.

Oh, I see. No, I was using flOwer as a point of reference. Boring to watch others play (though I enjoyed watching the trailers) but fun to play, I'm (admittedly) assuming Journey will be the same thing.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Actually your comment is pointless.  Not everybody will like the same thing.  I played Flower and guess what,  didn't like it. Is that some crime or something?  Anyways I've been waiting for Journey for a year so I'm excited but if someone doesn't like it I'm not going to be all upset about it so get over it
