I think what everyone's trying to say, is that they don't care for DirtyP's opinion. They've read his "must-read" posts and aren't excited for more of the same.

I think people are allowed to have and share those opinions. I don't even think it's necessary to read his history. I read his post not even knowing who said it at first, and thought to myself...hmmm I try to stay out of this genre of post-style, but now that this one is right here, I might as well give it the ol' 0/10. I'm not saying I dislike the post. I'm sure plenty of people would agree that this trash game Journey is boring as shit (I fell asleep twice myself, then switched to porn). I'm just saying that IMO a post like that is uninteresting and lachadaisical.

Why is everyone attacking these people who are just sharing their opinions?

Opnion based in what?

I think he's taking the piss out people who feel the need to voice an opinion simply because they can.

Yeap... I understand now and made a shadow edit.

I wonder, what are the chances of this coming to Vita? I'm ALWAYS looking for something else to put on that awesome little handheld.

what makes this game unique?

Journey has to really be played to be understood. Like Flower, it's not about having deep gameplay, but about making the player feel something, and what thatgamecompany set out to do with Journey was to let people feel the joy of finding a true friend in the midst of loneliness.

Based on my time in the beta, Journey does that extremely well. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the game feels quite lonely when you're playing alone, very desolate and a bit sad. But out of nowhere, you can find another player, and while the game is good when you're playing alone, playing with someone else is an amazing experience. It can make you feel really connected to another player, even when you have no idea who that player really is.

The game is built to make playing with a friend an experience of joy and bliss, and what I experienced in the beta was pretty much close to just that. Based on these reviews, it seems like they've succeeded at keep true to that goal.

I likek your mini-review... makes me even more excited.

You know, to be honest I didn't care for Flower and I never played Flow, but I totally understand where people are coming from when they say those games are good. I bought Flower and played it for a little while, but it just didn't resonate, but instead of claiming it sucked, I simply say it's not for me. Some people need to take that as an example.

Currently 91 metacritic from 12 reviews. That's a good score, but can it pass or equal uncharted 3, skyrim (ps3), ico/shadow of the colossus which are all 92?Would be a great accomplishment.

already 91 on metacritic that's prety sweet

This is incredible!! The game has 92 meta based on 17 reviews. A psn download actually recieved critical acclaim. Pretty damn impressive. I predict it'll finish on 90 once its all said and done. I saw this game a while ago and all i thought was: damn.. Thats some cool looking desert xP. Im actually convinced. Im gonna buy this.
